Is Warner already on the Rams ROH?

Charley Johnson is on Denver's but not ours. Weird. 36-28-5 as starter for Cards 20-18-3 for Broncos.

Almost took the Cards to the NFL title game in 1994. Missed by 1/2 game. 9-3-2 to Browns 10-3-1. :(

Thanks. My fingers are faster than my brain which has been fried by too many tailgates in the Arizona desert. Not the heat, but constantly being overserved Woodford Reserve by Derm.

There's a name that doesn't get mentioned enough...that guy was a great QB.

Wonder why they decided to do it week 1? Oh well, good to see, and while he didn't play here long, he shined really brightly and was key to our organization turning around in the eyes of many.

I don't necessarily agree with the ROH for Warner. He was a comet and we rode him on his path away from the sun. Call it four seasons starting, and only two of those posted winning records. Great QB, great guy, great teammate but it stinks of desperation to fill the ring up, get him now before someone else does kinda thing. Not flaming on the guy just don't agree with it.

Michael said it was not only for his performance, but for what he's contributed to the community and for the fact that, were it not for Kurt, people still wouldn't care about the Cardinals. (Those weren't his words but it's pretty clear Michael understands Kurt made the difference.)

I agree. Kurt changed the football culture in AZ. I'm glad he's being recognized for that.

Michael also talked about this being the first year Kurt is eligible for the HOF. It was obvious Michael is making the first claim on Kurt being "our guy". Smart move on his part, IMO. Kurt, being Kurt, said both the Cardinals and Rams made him what he is.

Kurt mentioned ONE name: Wiz. He said without Wiz giving him the chance to prove he was the best man for the job he wouldn't have had the success he had as a Cardinal.

Stinks of desperation to take our franchise to the Super Bowl, almost winning the Super Bowl and playoff appearances... I think not :)

:biglaugh: lol

Yea, taking the Cards to within minutes of a Super Bowl title, winning probably the greatest postseason game in NFL history against the Pack, numerous other spectacular games & being an unselfish athlete with his time off the football field is an act of desperation...NOT!!!

Sounds like someone has been smoking the wacky weed with DWash & needs a drug test :D

Cardinal colored glasses. Don't get this wrong, he played some magical games, some of those so spectacular (and amazing, since he made all of that happen, pretty much by himself) that they are clinics on how a QB should play and lead, I guess I see the ROH as a legacy with the franchise, not a few years of playing your nuts off, and he did. I just see it differently than you and Bucky. BTW I wish I could afford to hang with the Dawg, not so much DWeed, but work prohibits such activities... Just see it different than you guys, so flame away. Message board full of opinions, and we all know how opinions are.

Edit: Not taking anything away from the guy, great man and does wonderful things for the community as well, just don't see the ROH as such...

You're right. Cardinals colored glasses. He took a franchise that were perennial losers to the Superbowl. I don't care if he played 5 games and led them to the Superbowl, that's a Ring of Honor induction.

The ceremony will be during halftime. Plan on getting a beer and using the men's room then you won't have to watch.

p.s. My dad, when he was a Little League coach in the 60's, DID put every kid, no matter how inept, in the game and made sure he batted at least once. His players loved him. You'd have hated him. He wouldn't have cared.
