- started evaluating Josh in January
- saw that he had great potential
- played like a back up, but sees flashes of greatness
- has been making great strides
- great competitor
- prototypical QB
- Josh has been in the training center every day
- Josh is going the extra mile to make himself better
- Josh has been watching a TON of film and understands the system
- Kruzek is impressed with Navarre
- Navarre has great size
- Navarre was a steal in the 7th round
- he picked up things in mini camp real fast
- Navarre followed Kruzek the whole mini camp and learned (didnt get too many reps though)
- great for Kruzek to know he has some great WR's
- "Quan" is just amazing
- BJ is progressing alot
- Fitz is also playing really well
- The staff is working 12 - 13 hours a day

I heard the interview.

The one comment I have is EACH assisstant coach I hear sounds like he is very smary and KNOWS what he is talking about.

NOT like in years passed.

Not to be an ass. But name me an interview over the years where the coaches sounded stupid?

Yeah, I also got a little deja vue from this regarding last years ( and the year before that) staff statements. The 'great progress', 'everything is just great' message I am just too willing to believe.

Maybe this time ????

Did you ever hear a Joe Greene interview? Did you ever hear Joe Greene say anything intelligent? In fact did you ever hear Joe Greene?

Hmmm. Interesting question. How about -

- Gene Stallings expressing surprise that players should have plenty of water in extreme heat?

- Buges was a great guy, but never seemed to me to have rocket science potential.

- Buddy's demeaning comments toward Rucker (Fatso!) and Reuben Davis (both of who got the job done inside the previous season for Fritz Shurmer) lost a lot of respect for his intelligence (among other things) in my eyes.

Gree, I thought Buddy was pretty smart. He fleeced the Cardinals for his retirement money. Must of had a plan...

Green did say something...once

After a good special teams return, Joe Green turned to those around him and looking at Kevin Kasper said... DRUM ROLL "Who is that guy?" There you have it.

Please point to the parts where Coach Mac "sounded stupid"?

The parts with quotation marks around them.

Found some more like "....you have to play football to play football". And I thought Yogi Berra was a baseball player.

I am not singling out McGinnis, his was just the easiest to find, most coaches interviews sound stupid. Especially if you look at them in retrospect. Kind of like watching people dance on TV with the sound turned off.

Green refered to the Cardinals as the Phoenix Cardinals. That was pretty damn dumb!

Tobin indeed seemed a little less than sharp to me.

I think he may have been a decent coordinator, but putting everything together as a coach was not his strong suit.

....LOL....so you gonna learn how to play football by playing badminton or bowling?

....and watch what you say about dancers..... :D

some are great to watch even with no sound, while others look terrible no matter what.

Buddy also had some disparging remarks about Garrison Hearst and his injuries and courage. Hey Buddy, Garrison is still running the ball and you are gone.
