The guys on Rivals said they thought it was between Arizona and Bama for Sexton. We know Miller can get them late in the process. Does AZ "lead" for anyone?

Alex Barcello is the only player I'd bet money on committing to UofA. We're in several players' list and I'd imagine we'll get 3-4 from those players. Miller said earlier that he thinks he needs 6 for next year.

You're a co favorite for McCoy but apparently USC is the team making the most noise for him since his mom moved to San Diego from the midwest. Before that it was UA and Michigan State but it now looks like USC has a real shot.

You probably lead for Ira Lee, he likes Cal too, but he's not a priority for UA anymore I think he's more of a plan B or C and seems to realize it. UA, Cal and USC are all on a bunch of kids, many the same kids, if any one of the 3 does a good job of closing they're going to have a big class.

I thought Stanford was the leader for Barcello?

Forgot about Lee. I think the coaches push for a commitment from him in the next few weeks or UofA moves on.

Lee has kind of slipped in the rankings. Ironic because most had him rated ahead of former teammate Cody Riley because he's younger and less developed so had more upside. But Lee hasn't really progressed at the rate people expected and now most have Riley ahead of Lee. USC is actually trying to make a push to get Riley now I think they figured out Preston might not qualify and Lee might be going to Cal or Arizona so they're going hard after Riley.

I actually like Barcello he's a bit undersized but a very good basketball player. Lee plays hard and he's a good passer but I don't think he's got the shot or the ball skills right now he's just a high energy guy who can dunk off the break. Love McCoy.

Denny wouldn't have played significant minutes save for mop-up duty. Sucks for him, but this is not like losing Ray Smith last season.

Know it can change at any moment but most predictions have Cal "leading" for McCoy.

Oh of course I just hate to see kids get hurt especially a kid that transferred just because he always wanted to play for UA since he was a kid. Hopefully the NCAA gives him that extra year.

yeah they were a perceived leader for a long time but several of the Scout folks are saying USC has made a big push for him since his mom moved to San Diego. I guess that was the lure to Mich State his mom was fairly close by.

Combo guard?
Miller considers him a cross between TJM and NJ, better shooter than TJ but not as explosive as NJ IMO. He reminds me of a college version of Steve Nash. I think he is a better get than some 5-star PG because he seems like he is at least a 3 year guy which should bring stability to the program at the PG spot plus I think this helps out a lot with the MBIII sweepstakes in 2018 as he played his 1 year of AZ HS basketball with Barcello.

Alex will play the point. From his videos, he has a sweet stroke and plays tenacious defense, something Miller loves. I read his parents are not UofA fans, glad to see they let him decide on his own.

Bagley isn't coming to UofA. It's Duke, UK, or overseas.

Probably ASU fans. Good to keep him away from Hurley early in his tenure. That would've been an important "get" for him.

Barcello looks very mature in the face like he's in his early-20's IMO.

Speculating or you know something we don't?
Things I've read. Some indicate he's a Kentucky lean at this point in his recruitment, and like with T-Ferg, theres the spector of him committing and then going overseas. Plus, it speaks volumes when Coach K personally goes after a kid who lives outside of his traditional recruiting area.

Of course, anything is possible with enough time between now and a verbal from him, but it's hard to imagine that Bagley comes to Arizona.

UCLA is heavily involved with Bagley but I suspect he will strongly consider going pro. Bagley is tight with Cody Riley that's why he wound up at Sierra Canyon(and was ineligible last year). Riley is still considered a strong UCLA lean although the longer he goes without committing the less strong it seems. Bagley has visited UCLA several times already since arriving in LA, he's been at USC too they're recruiting him hard.

The general feeling is he could do anything from reclassify up a year to turn pro out of HS, he has many of the same issues Ferguson did because of his prepschool time. I know Crystal Ball has him Uk or Duke but there's I think one pick on that list that's even this year nobody is quite sure what if anything has changed with him.

You never know everyone thought Ayton wasn't coming to college and now he's openly saying he intends to and adding schools to his list.

I think it's unlikely they both play college ball(different classes) and it now seems more likely Ayton does than Bagley.

Russ?

yeah nobody knows but I never thought UCLA was getting him anyways.

Definitely a slap in the face kind of thing but what can you do kid is really good and if he does play in college he'll be really good. My guess is it was somewhat mutual related to academics but that's not based on any inside knowledge. He's a very atypical recruit for UCLA and we got in very late because of Under Armour so not a huge surprise but the way he did it is certainly intriguing.
