Shouldnt wilson think more about the team than himslef? I thought that is what mac wanted. Less of the personal achievements and more of the team achievements. Making the pro bowl should be in the back of his mind. Helping this team should be his #1 priority. If he dosent want to make changes in order to help the better of the team than what does that say about him as a person. I belive we have been moving players out of position all year especailly on the OL.
I don't have a problem with going after Milloy but I do take expception to comparing moving Wilson to CB and moving OL's.
OL is a totally different beast, a LOT of NFL guards were college tackles anyways, so moving a guy like Big because of injury wasn't that big of a deal. Now if we're moving Starkey or Dishman to LT that's more comparable. SS and CB are totally different positions, Wilson has the talent to play CB but he's spent his entire offseason and camp playing SS, to move him now might stunt his development. A lot of us believe Corey Chavous' career was negatively impacted by moving him to CB when we drafted him as a safety. Also most of Adrian's problems are leaving assignments to pursue plays, if you do that as a CB you give up a lot of big plays.
Back to Milloy, with the amount of 3 WR sets in our division who's to say having 3 good safeties and 2 CB's isn't just as effective a nickel package as 3 good CB's since we don't have them?
