Mingo sucks. I didn't like the kid coming out of college and he hasn't done anything in the NFL. I wouldn't even give Drew Butler for Mingo.

Kruger wouldn't come cheap (High draft pick) and his salary would prevent us from being able to resign a bunch of our FA's next year if he remained on the roster. I would rather keep this team together long term and use the extra money to extend some of our key free agents.

I do not know about all the proposed trades... because the Cleveland coach said in his presser they hear this every year and called them fictitious :)

I would like Mack and Dansby, the radio guys for Cleveland yesterday were of the impression the Browns want a 2nd for Mack and a 1st or 2nd for Thomas, they didn't mention Dansby as being available.

Mack would be a huge upgrade at C and we need a playmaking LB, Karlos coming back would be perfect.

Won't happen but I can dream.

I'd give up a 1st to Thomas and ask Veldeer to move to the right hand side. Oh what a pipe dream that would be. I'd give a 2nd for Mack too.

I don't see the Cardinals going after Mack either. He is too expensive cap wise and the Browns won't let him go for cheap. Again, the Cards have several key free agents after this year who I would rather them spend the money on.

Key Cardinals 2016 FAs:

Jarraud Powers
Drew Stanton
Jermain Gresham
Rashad Johnson
Chris Johnson
Justin Bethel
Tony Jefferson
Jaron Brown
Bobby Massie
Michael Floyd (Option year)

That's a lot of mouths to feed with very little to go around. Would like to see as many of those guys back as possible. The Cards won't be able to sign them all though.

Trade for Alex Mack

Would you trade Cleveland for Center Alex Mack? And what would you give up.

Rumor going around Cleveland this week was he is on the trade block along with Joe Thomas.

He came out today and said he won't waive the no trade clause.

MRI scheduled for L. Sendlein for shoulder...

Read it somewhere..Revenge of the Birds, I think. Anyways, the Mack-idea has merit especially in light of Sendlein's possible injury.

As good as Thomas is this place would go full nuclear if we did that. Especially considering it would make Humphries a completely wasted pick, which I still think he is anyway not to mention that offensive line is not a glaring need right now.

Full nuclear because we will have the best line in football? That doesn't seem right. Stanton was Arians first signing and then traded for Palmer when he was available.

Whenever you have the opportunity to upgrade your team, you do it.

We don't need Joe Thomas. Veldeer is just fine on the left side and I think between Massie/Watford/Humphries we will be fine on the right for the foreseeable future. The center position is our only real question mark at O-line. The Mack idea has merit.

Here it is:

If Cleveland gets rid of Thomas, they will need a LT....

Lets give them DJ Bum-phries for Dansby + Pierre Desir.

win/win.

Clev. sheds Thomas and his salary, get back a 1st round, fresh out the box new LT for the next 10 years.

We get a massive upgrade at ILB and CB depth.

Alex Mack at center for us? That would be huge to solidify our middle

Maybe he will change his mind about the no trade?
