Oh, Adrian!
You might have noticed that KGME-AM (910)'s morning team of Dan Bickley and Mike Jurecki was on the sidelines Wednesday.

We're told they were given the rest of the week off after Cardinals safety Adrian Wilson dropped a couple of expletives that weren't deleted during Tuesday morning's show while discussing the debacle on Monday Night Football.

Typically in such a situation, a producer hits a "dump button" that keeps something like that from going out over the airwaves.

A fill-in producer was on duty and, well, let's just say he left the studio's booth and was otherwise, uh, occupied in another booth.

Repeated calls to Clear Channel Radio's Phoenix program director, Jason Wilmot, for comment were not returned.

He might have been busy with the Federal Communications Commission.

This country is too damned uptight. To the FCC, cussing & sex is forbidden, but graphic violence is ok. I've never understood that about TV & radio in this country.

Yea I was surprised what I was hearing, though I wasen't 100% percent sure they were F bombs since Adrian spoke in kind of a groggy mumble.I was thinking surely if these were F bombs they would be bleeping them out or asking him to be carefull. He sharted a few times too.

Ahh...I was wondering why they are out. I didn't make that connection.

This is pretty lame.

I'm so glad they let us hear those words spoke by Wilson. They needed to be heard! Anyone that complained about it should be ashamed.

The good news: MJ and Dickley are off the air!!! YAY!!!! Even if it is just for a few days, that is awesome.

The bad news: I will now never get to hear that interview. :(

i am surprise nfl network or espn didn't replay that interview. maybe this was the excuse to fire those two. if you want to get rid of the losing attitudes then get rid of the nay sayers.

Bickley and MJ won't get fired for this. That fillin producer will probably never be in a radio booth again but I've worked the "dump" button at a station before and you are just as shocked as the listeners sometimes that you just heard the word. It happens you would just think that Wilson would have been smart enough not to say the Fword on radio.

Espo, why in your opinion are MJ and Bickley suspended? That seems to be entirely the producers responsibility and not the fault of the hosts. IMO the manager of the station should be suspended for not properly staffing the show.

Clear Channel has a zero tollerance policy toward all that stuff because they are the FCC's bitch.

i figured they were given some time off for the wilson interview. it just seemed kinda weird that they were both gone at the same time without metioning anything. they are entertaining to listen to in the morning at least and usually talk about local sports that are interesting, ie. cards, suns, and ASU.

will the assassin fork over some money to cover bickley and mj's lost salary? that would be funny :)

so who is filling in for those two.

The Big and Tall show, whoever those two are. I hate to say it but they make me want Bickley and MJ back on the air.

It is nice not hearing Bickley agree with everything MJ says. God it's annoying.... "You know MJ, your right....."

The only cuss word I really recall hearing clearly was:

"My wife's has been crying all fvcking night"

It was in the context of how he felt that night and he said he hadn't been able to sleep and then the crying comment. I looked at my radio wondering if I had really heard it right but knew I had. MJ and Bickley came on after that segment and apologized.

I am no sensitive prude but you would think Wilson would know better than to cuss like that on a radio interview...but he was clearly still very down about the loss.

And I think he mentioned he didn't sleep until 5 or 6 that night too, so he was exhausted....I didn't hear it though so I'm going off what others said.
