MJ missed 94 shots in the 98’ Finals in six games. In the game 6 clicher he went 15-35. Had 45 points on 35 shots, 1 assists and 1 rebound.

The rest of the Bulls went 19-32 and Chicago held Utah to 86 points.

But the shot...

Man. You clearly don't remember this game. It wasn't just "the shot". It was Jordan, at 34, playing on a Bulls team that was beat up after a grueling 7 game series with the Pacers, three straight Finals trips, on the road and looking like they were dead to rights because Pippen could barely move because of a strained back and the rest of the team sans Kukoc curled up into the fetal position... except MJ. That's what people remember who actually watched the game.

Michael literally made every play needed down the stretch on both offense and D, down 3 with 45 seconds left, nailing a runner from the right, then coming back down the floor, stealing the ball from Malone on D and hitting "the shot".

They just replayed it on for its 20th year anniversary. Jordan was literally killing his team until the final few minutes but did come up coming thru and that’s all that people remember. I think Jordan is the GOAT but there’s people like Skip Bayless who thought that performance was better than Lebron in game 1.

Btw some serious props to Pippen he looked near death as did Stockton. Watching that game just reminded me how slow that era was.
