Nope, no plans in the works.

If this is nice app then I could run it by the site owners.

I am always hesitant to add this kind of stuff because it is not natively supported, but if more folks want this chime in and I could always ask them.

Vbookie was a mess and it caused more support issues than value-add, so support is my main concern.

For iphone, I find it easier just to go straight to the site via browser than tapatalk.

Look at the home page, how outdated is that?
Do you really expect mobile support?

I just got Tapatalk for my iPhone. Makes a huge difference for forums I frequent. Surprised this forum doesn't support it. I'd be willing to donate to the site if it'd help us get it.

Well, I'd like it too, but I don't expect Keebali to do it, that's all.

I have a Droid (which makes me less sexy than Jon!), and I just use my browser as well.

I haven't experienced any issues.

Based upon your feedback, I did notify the site owners about Tapatalk. They seem receptive to it and have assigned it to one of their developers to investigate.

The developer will need to evaluate the support impact and pros/cons of doing this, but I think this has a better than average chance of happening. I'll update you with an ETA when I hear from the developer.

Any word yet on getting Tapatalk? It's just a plug in

The site owner is supportive of looking into this. It looks like the lead developer is the bottleneck. I sent him a reminder to let us know if it is feasible and a timeframe for evaluation and maybe implementation if it works.

Because of time zones and the Israel holidays I won't hear until next Mon at the earliest, but I will bug them again if I don't hear by mid next week.

This makes it sound like the site is run my some corporate company. Isn't it really a case the the guy who runs the site just needs to call his buddy who built the site for him?

I'd be glad to take it over. I'd pay for the rebuild.

You'd pay to buy the site from Keebali?

I heard back from the developer and here is the latest.

He tried installing tapatalk on the server-side right before last weeks Israel holiday week. It didn't take on the first pass. He is back to work starting Israel Monday (our Sun late night) and has been in touch with Tapatalk support.

He is going to give it another shot and work with the vendor.

So in a nutshell, they first need to see if they can get it to work with the board. Then if they can prove it works a call needs to be made on whether the benefit of this will outweigh added tech support for this.

So at this point I'd say it is about 50/50 or so of this happening.

This site needs an enema and needs to be updated badly. I wish this site was owned by someone committed to improving it as the technology improves or in private hands so could ensure donations are going towards improving the site.

Just about every major forum I frequent has both Android and iPad compatibility now. It's not unreasonable.
