1. Obafemi Ayanbadejo was interviewed by the media. Smart guy. Well spoken. Nigerian father, Irish mother. Said he came here because of Denny Green. Hopes to start at FB and will play anywhere including special teams.

2. OLB Brandon Short was next. He didn't know if his agent had received an offer from the Cards but he's in no hurry to make up his mind. Doesn't have a speciific plan. When he gets an offer he likes, he'll take it. If he comes here, he'll be tried at both OLB spots. He'll play anywhere, MLB or even special teams. Seattle, San Diego and two other team whose names escapes me have already scheduled visits with him. Didn't rule out returning to NY.

Another sharp guy. Well-spoken. Ayanbadejo and Short were very impressive people.

3. Then Dez White came in. He was nervous and less polished than the others. When asked if this was the first place he visited in his travels, he said he didn't travel to get here, he's been here for three weeks working out with his trainers.

When asked why he visited here, he said he was in town already, so why not visit? His only other scheduled visit is NY. Wants to go where he's appreciated. Will not go back to Chicago.
