We weren't watching the same players then.

How do you figure? As far as pure speed goes, Rolle ran a 4.5 compared to Francisco's 4.7, and 4.5 is just fine for a CB. Rolle has suffered from an inconsistent pass rush, knee injury, bad scheme, and even worse coaching. He has all of the physical tools to play CB and is the best CB on the roster.

I don't understand the hammering of Rolle. He was usually matched against the other teams one. When I remember big problems it was the team moving right down the field throwing under Green when he was playing so far off.

I do think Franciso would have certainly been better than the kid they brought in off the street when Green was hurt. I also never understood why Macklin was benched and they played Ware over him I believe. Just another Denny moment.,

With the great WRs we have the pass protection will still be critical. If Levi can get his foot work together thats great but how long would that take and what does that mean for the health of Lienart?

In my honest opinion.

Pass-Blocking skills is just like WR hands. You either have "it" or you don't have "it".

Brown has "it". Starting him at LT should not be a problem in pass-protection. Adjusting from college to the NFL in run blocking is a different story.

I can't get a gauge on where Antonio Pittman will get drafted. I'm thinking the middle of round 2. He's the type of back that would fit Whiz's running style. I don't think i would take him at 38 but i would definitely nab him in round 3. I just can't get on board with Levi at 5. Ideally, we trade dwon to the 7-10 spot and pick up an extra 2nd rounder and could get Pittman with that pick. But, that may still be a bit too early for him.

Francisco "doesn't have the althleticism"? ....... Boy, I'm completely with Skkorp on this one. I think he is one of the most athletic players on the team.

And I do also agree with the comment that we could well see 3 safeties on the field quite a bit.

I like both Rolle and Francisco......and one little point to add to another comment.....Francisco had to play under the same incompetant coach that Rolle did.
I expect the entire secondary to perform better just because of the coaching changes.

The Wiz will love Aaron Francisco. IMO it is hard to keep tis kid off the field. IMO he will be the starter with Holt moving around to find his 20 minutes. I'm not real sure about this but even with his size AF might be able to play a LB spot. He is one tuff dude.
