1) Had 1.5 good years.

2) Complained about money.

3) Developed dropsies.

4) Did not rehab properly and come back in shape.

5) Is injury prone.

6) Threatened to hold out.

7) Pouted about the team and MONEY!

8) Attacked other players and coaches.

Compare this with the way Wilson went about getting his extension.

He might be a great player but he is not a team player.

One rotten apple spoils the barrel.

Green has cut Pro-Bowlers, 1st round picks, and Hall of Famers.

Boldin needs to shape up or he will trade himself away. Green wants to keep him but Boldin needs to stop focussing on whining about things.

Anquan is a complete player. Enough said, we have enough room for him to be franchised.

I'm torn. If Boldin doesn't want to be here and if he is asking for a king's ransom, I'm using the word "IF", then I would consider trading him for Bennett, the 18th pick and the Vikings 2nd rounder, then use the money we saved for Hartwell.

This trade makes perfect sense ...for the Vikings. I dont see this trade being a 1 for 1 deal...I have heard rumors of the Vikings giving the Cards Bennett, and our 18th pick as well as our second round pick for Boldin and your 1st round,#2 overall pick in the 2005 draft. Which is still tilt towards the Viking side. Me being the Viking fan that I am would love this trade.

Our pick is #8 not #2

I dont think Bennet is worth even a third--

he had a brittle rep coming out of Wisconsin, and he has only re-affirmed that it was accurate.

Right now, I am not sure if you can consider Bennet a full time player. Part time players are not worth high first day picks.

Terrell Owens was traded for a 2nd rounder. There is talk the Shaun Alexander or E. James is available for a 2nd rounder. Do you see a pattern here? Boldin is not even a top 10 guy in his position. Randy Moss was traded for a #1. He is top 3 in his position. If someone offered a #1, I would be tempted. Boldin has bad knees.

The key is Boldin's demands. IF they really are trying to reach an agreement, but can't get anything done due to unreasonable demands then it should be an option. BUT only then.

But I think these rumor are BS...

1. Boldin is under contract for another two years, so the team is not pressured to do anything yet.

2. Why on earth would you trade your most popular player?

3. This is wishful thinking from the Vikes. Edge and Alexander was on the trading block and could have been had for a 2nd rounder.
Bennett is a injury-prone player with only one good season, so where does that put his trade value? Realisticly, compared to the pricetag on Edge, Alexander and Henry, Bennett's value is a low 3rd rounder. The Vike fans think he's worth a 1st rounder. PLEASE!!!!!!!

He is not my most popular players. He is just an excellent receiver who had one good year and who wants to upgrade his contract with two years left on his old one. Berry is probably my most popular player at the moment.

Berry came here by choice on a long term deal and has done well. Boldin came here when drafted and wants a better deal already. Hope Dockett stays for a while also. My guess is Boldin will be gone in two years or sooner so better not get to attached to him.

John I have a valid question for you. Did Boldin ran your dog over or what? You have so much venom for the guy.
