Ellington is why you pick a runningback in the sixth round even though you already picked on in the fifth. :)

should have picked him in the 5th and passed on Taylor and taken Bararri Rambo instead.

Doesn't matter now because we got lucky and picked up Tony Jefferson.

I think Ellington probably has the best completion percentage with Palmer out of the whole team....I haven't looked that up at all but sometimes I just like to post from the hip. I know it sounds real good. :D

I think that catch he made today was awesome and just when we needed it. I see good things coming his way.

I've been all for this kid from jump. Was one of the most impressive, IMO, from preseason and camp.

This kid is fantastic! Best all-around running back the Cardinals have fielded in a long time. Love his quickness!. And that catch he made along the sideline was outstanding. Awesome Andre!

Agreed. Especially when the one taken in the 5th is a plodder. :)

Why Ellington is good is he has great hip fluidity and power. He jukes as much or more at the hips than the feet, which allows him to maintain speed and move more crisply. That's been a RB skill we've not had in, well...I don't know how long.

No let's run Smith in a crucial late game play, some stupid shot gun draws, and let Palmover chuck it up in the first half. At least Mendy was decently average today.

Nobody but Ell and Mendy should run the ball from here on out, unless we are up big then Stephan gets some touches.

If they could commit to giving Andre 15-20 carries a game, I think he would easily surpass mendenhall on the depth chart...

Or Less is More. Simply depends on the situation.

I like him but disagree. Mendenhall really does get some tough yards. He is the best we have seen in years here in terms of vision and fighting for yards. He makes something out of nothing. Ellington is doing exactly what he should be, catching balls, and an occasional change of pace.

Perfect, agree!

D-Dawg/Dogg-strodomis strikes again.
