Doesn't look like I'll be working in the Phoenix market anytime soon. Nothing but great memories there.

@VicLombard , I just received a call from my source in Denver and he says he's 95% sure you're right.

My brother went to school in Colorado and loved the state, but couldn't stand the Broncos because of their fans. Now I understand his line of thinking.
I concur.
I love Colorado, and might end up living there again someday, but the Broncos fans were obnoxious. However, they weren't all that much more annoying than fans in other cities where I've lived (Cowboys, Bears)...
What takes someone from being a fan to a superfan?
I can barely cope with the tension, and I live over 5000 miles away! Argh, just sign already and end this misery!!!
Technically true, but you forgot to mention that there are sometimes 5 weeks between significant storms.I lived in Denver for 5 years. Its a nice city. However, its snow country with snowstorms starting at the end of October and continuing into April.

Denver gets more days of sun than San Diego. Colorado is an awesome place to live. The Broncos are a hard team to root for because of the fans.

Which brings me to the only logical reason for "why all the mystery?" -
Peyton and his family is in "bargaining mode." He probably plans to meet with other teams, and hopes to get Denver or Arizona or Miami or Houston or Seattle or whatever to increase their offer.
Contacted about what? Follow up questions? Clarification? Left something at the facility? Declining offer? This report is too nebulous.
I don't think Peyton can go to the bathroom or get a drink of water without a reporter tweeting or writing about it.
Line in old country song "You only build me up to let me down". I shall be glad when this Manning mania goes away one way or the other. Wonder what Kolb and Skelton are saying or thinking about all this?
Well it was fun while it lasted. Personally think Denver is not a great fit but I'm not the signal caller.
