I think Knowshown would be a great addition to our offense. Interesting to see how often he had successful runs out of the shotgun, and looks like he has the talent as a reciever out of the backfield. What a 1-2 punch with Hightower.

Greene:

reminds me of Edge. Upfield, finishes runs, always falls forward and gets a couple extra yards -- runs with power and toughness.

however -- it seems like he has no second level burst or juke where he makes a guy miss and he goes the distance.

A team could do worse.

It looked like, other than the run against Purdue, Iowa created alot of Greene's yards. Knowshon is definately the better back of the two, a pure athlete.

Boy, iowa's line was good. Greene was touched about 12 yds downfield on most of those plays. Any back who has a 20 yd sprint without gettting touched is going to look good.

Hightower has the burst to the outside . This kid takes on players. At the NFL level this could be a problem. I like Brown at 31 if he is there.

My wish list for RB's in this years draft has changed it's order a few times already.

It is currently:
1) Moreno
2) D. Brown
3) McCoy
4) Wells
5) Greene

I know a lot of you will think I am crazy for me having Wells at 4, but I think that for a few reasons.
A) I just had my gallbladder removed and am on narcotics so I may not be thinking straight.
B) I worry about his health (but am not overly concerned about it).
C) He seems fairly one-dimensional. He caught 14 passes total in the three years he played at OSU.
D) From watching his tape it looks like his cutback ability is inferior to that of Brown, McCoy, and Moreno and he won't have many "make something out of nothing" runs.
F) I don't think he is as much of a compliment to TH as the others.

That said, I think Beanie will be a great back in a power running system where he is teamed with a back who brings the other abilities to the table.

I think there is a very small gap between Moreno, Brown, McCoy, and Wells, I just like the versatility of the first three.

I thought Greene was faster than I remember. I noticed he never got taken down by the first guy. I love one cut guys who see the hole, cut, and burst through with power. I think unless you are an extremely great back that is all there is time to do in the NFL. I like Greene.

what Burg and jf-08 said. That film reminds me of JJ's college highlights. It's pretty easy to run for a bunch of yards when the first defender you encounter is 8 yards downfield. He never made one guy miss.

on the right of that video,they have a Beanie Wells highlight video. Trying my best to be unbiased, he just looks the best of the bunch to me.They are close but i'd say:
vision-equal
power-advantage Wells
speed-advantage Wells,he seems to play faster
explosiveness-advantage Wells
elusiveness-advantage Moreno
durability-advantage Moreno

i would take either but would prefer Wells. It would be amazing if he falls to 31.

In this draft class, I'd wait until the 3rd round maybe 4th to get my RB, unless Wells or Moreno are there at 31.

My guess is that all the speculation about Wells and Moreno are for naught -- I think they are gone by #31.

It really comes down to Donald Brown / LeSean McCoy at #31 ( and maybe only one of those) -- and are they better prospects than the defensive players who will be sitting there?

I really wish the Cards had signed a Lamont Jordan or a Kevin Jones this offseason --

I would just hate to pass on a defensive player who can help to reach for a back at #31 because they need to get one

I don't think they are this teams target at this point. And you can get one of them mid 2nd. Probably McCoy. Brown you'll need to tab a little sooner, IMO.

I have to say I like Moreno as the 1st choice RB but I like Jennings from Liberty as a second choice.

I don't know if its my bias showing but I don't like Wells that much. I saw some highlights from the other guy on ESPN (not Kiper) pointing out that he shy's away from contact sometimes as thats why he graded is competitiveness low or something like that.
