In the past three weeks ASU has won at Maples, Pauley, and McKale. It's the first time that's been done in 28 years.

Maybe more impressive is ASU won those last two games with their two best players played with multiple injuries. Harden, especially, is playing through a lot of pain.

Harden is an interesting guy. He's a fabulous player, clearly the best player in the Pac 10. In fact on Saturday I felt the 2 best players on the court were Harden and Pendergraph, then Collison.

Harden is nowhere near as bad as say Daniel Hackett, but he has a real habit of initiating contact and then falling down looking for the call. Add in all the times he really does get fouled, and the times he goes down and gets called for an offensive foul(he led the conference in charges last year) and you can see why he's hurt so much. He's on the floor more than anybody in the conference save maybe Hackett who is also always hurt.

Love the kid, the biggest mistake of the Howland era was offering Chace Stanback over harden.

In addition, look at the rest of our schedule. It's home heavy, and not too impressive. With a strong finish, ASU is looking at a 2-5 seed in the tourney.

Andy Katz wrote today that the Pac 10 title will go through Tempe precisely because ASU got the toughest road trip (LA) out of the way already.
