Since the Cards are screwed picking up an edge rusher, we've got 2 other glaring weaknesses IMO. Go get CB Sean Smith & C Steve Wisniewski right now! Then draft all defense in the upcoming draft.

Do we really want to start Bethel or a rookie at CB or Coop or a rook at C? Not me! and no I don't want Seindlein back I want an upgrade.

Sounds reasonable Bucky .But the Cards had a chance to sign Wiseniewski last offseason and instead signed Sendlein. If I recall Wisiewski also signed late in Free agency last season because he was not as hot a FA as many thought he would be.That says Wis is not high on BASKs list maybe.

I'd be on board with those moves.

Wisniewski lets Cooper stay at starting RG & then Humpries & Watford can battle it out for RT.

Sean Smith (or any other top FA CB that fits our man-2-man style) lets us draft the best defensive players available. I'd still look to draft an OLB, ILB, DLine, CB & S, but at least with the additions of those 2 & Tyvon Branch (S) we're not counting on a rookie to start immediately.

Either Carson and Veldheer are not high on him or he is too high on himself $$.

Shipley is a backup quality player... he did ok when called upon, but he's a downgrade (at best equal to) from Sendlein. We need to improve at our weak positions (without creating more weak positions) if we want to have a chance to go to the SB next year.

:biglaugh: You really are asking for 2014 all over aren't you. ;). He's pitiful & was let go by the Colts who had probably the worst Oline in football before we signed him.

Quality centers in the draft. Better than the available free agents especially with Alex Mack gone.

Ryan Kelly Alabama
Nick Martin Notre Dame
Max Tuerk Souther Cal
Jack Allen Michigan State
Graham Glasgow Michigan

The teams biggest needs are:

OLBer, OC, CB & ILBer. That's my list but I think BASK doesn't have ILBer on their list.

Back ups at OT and OG are next.

Upgrades at DE (maybe) and NT (most likely) on the list as well.

one can make an argument that NT and DE are bigger needs than OLB....
