I decided to conclude my week of "movie-a-day" with what to me was one of the most horrifying film that has come out over this past decade.... Thanks again to Amazon.com for the following:

The glow of the screen illuminates his heavily pierced, tattoo-stained face as his fingers dance nimbly across the keyboard…searching, hunting. His computer handle is Captain Howdy, and he surfs the local chat rooms for young female prey. Girls like Genevieve and Tiana, who mysteriously vanish after an online conversation with the cunning cyber-predator. Detective Mike Gage has a personal stake in the case: Genevieve is his daughter. When Tiana's corpse - tortured, pierced and scarred - is discovered in the river, Gage realized that time is running out for Genevieve. Personal Note: I met encounter several people over the years who became hesistant to meet anyone off the 'net because of this movie..... It was extremely graphic beyond belief during several scenes...Dee Snider did a phenonomal job as Captain Howdy..... For as much of a horror nut as I am I have never seen this movie. I'll be honest, I had little to no faith in Dee Snyder as a writer/director/actor so I steered clear of this. Maybe I'll have to check it out.

I thought it was good - not "the scariest" movie I've seen - but it was entertaining for sure

Snyder was awesome as Howdy!

Wasn't Captain Howdy the name the devil took when talking to Linda Blair through the Oiji (sp?) board in The Exorsist?

Yep!

Decent film, a little slow at times. Really took the "body modification" fad from the late 90's and put a wicked twist to it. Great "B" film. I'm surprised there wasn't a sequel. More of a Hellraiser type horror than body-count horror.

Interesting that you mentioned that you were surprised of no sequel....I remember reading a couple of years-ago that Dee Snyder was in the process of actually making one, but I never heard anything in regards to that since.....
