He didn't just defend his QB. That would be fine, laudable even. He stated he would start. There's a plethora of options to defend your QB without stating he's the starter right after the game.What I like is that Gannon said after watching the film he came to the conclusion Tune or Murray will start.
So he defended his QB after the game but then sat down and watched the tape, realized how poorly Dobbs actually played, and made a change.
I like that.
