that doesn’t support the assertion that it’s easy to be efficient as a passer in those circumstances.
How does it NOT. I dont know if you are being deliberately obtuse or just playing ignorant.

I’m not arguing that Wilson had a good run game and defense. I’m disputing the argument that it’s easy to be efficient when possessing one. Joe Flacco seemed to struggle in a similar circumstance. Go back up your assertion with some data. Otherwise you’re just throwing bull flop into the air and hoping no one notices. How does it NOT. Yup.Part of his m.o. at times I'm afraid. Rather tiresome and over the years I've learned to roll my eyes and chuckle at it.
It doesn't make it "easy", but it does make it "easier". Having a good defense that always keeps you in the game means you don't have to get overly aggressive on throws and keeps the possibility of the run alive. Having a good run game means that defenses have to respect every time you run play action because the RB is a threat to make a big play if you aren't ready for him to get the ball. It also makes it more likely that teams load the box in case you run and give you more openings for throws down the field.I’m not arguing that Wilson had a good run game and defense. KK has also been lambasted this yr on this board for only taking the FG & not going for TD's. I'm glad he went for it, we're 3-8-1 at that point, nothing to lose. Hindsight is 20/20 the FG there & yes, we're tied after the DJ TD. KM just made a bad decision, imo, he could've walked in. I almost threw my beer in disgust when it was picked off. Instead I went back outside & worked on the Christmas lights lol. Only to walk back inside & see the replay of the DJ TD reception.I would argue the very reason Kyler threw the pick is why we should have kicked there, he didn't want to run and he's been like that most of the season. He wasn't having a good game at that point, kicking the FG puts it to a one score game. Yes he should have gotten the first down, we all agree on that, but it wasn't exactly hard to predict he might not make the right decision he's a rookie who wasn't playing well and was clearly confused by Pittsburgh. Sometimes the coach has to be the adult in the room and not get caught up in the moment and take the points. We got the ball back, had we kicked the FG we would have tied the game when we scored the TD to DJ.
The lone TD against the Rams was definitely to the left. So was the one against the 49ers Halloween night. I think?See my other post for whatever reason when he runs right he REALLY wants to throw the ball and it ends up usually badly, runs out of bounds, gets tackled for a big loss, throws the ball away. It almost never works. When he runs left it's like he is less inclined to throw because it's running left so he is far more decisive to actually run. I'm not 100% sure but I think at least 3 of the 4 rushing TD's this year have been to the left.
Wow, what does a top 5 defense look like lol? Been too many yrs now since we had that. Maybe in another 3 yrs lol? We should've paid CC the money & not let him leave for Jax, instead of the wasted 20 million we gave Bradford for 3 games lol.Yes...with a top 5 Defense...in the history of the NFL.
Only four years, actually... believe it or not!Wow, what does a top 5 defense look like lol? Been too many yrs now since we had that.
Yeah, I figured 4-5 yrs but I was being rather facetious about it because with last yrs defense & this yrs.............seems like an eternity lol?Only four years, actually... believe it or not!
