Considering that there are 16 player I like very much and we select 20th in rd2, I d take my chances that we don't need to trade up and one will call to us.

When I layed my head down last night I had visions of Kyle Van Noy dancing

in my head. He just screams Arizona Cardinal player. He is a good kid and

versatile.

Maybe, but the Seahawks also have a ton of big guys to rotate through the middle. I just think that there's a sea change going on at the cornerback position, and teams didn't want to feel left out. It's a kind of generational turnover that we just saw from the Quarterback position in the last three years.

This trend has been developing for a while now. As more athletes are being moved to wide receiver on offense, similarly more athletes are being moved to cornerback on defense. More talent at a position leads to more of those players being drafted until the market becomes flooded.

LB - Kyle Van Noy - The same ability and instincts as Shazier, just not as athletic.

LB - Demarcus Lawrence - I think Kiper is right is the only pure pass rusher left on the board.

Five DL's - Hageman, Tuitt, Nix, Jernigan(I dont care about his drug test), and Ealy(I consider him a DE after he gains 10 pounds over the year, who ever picks him and stands him up he will be out of the league in 3 years IMO).

TE - Austin Seferian-Jenkins

Happy with any one of those 8. I could be talked into Bitonio, and Moses, Su'a-Filo for the OL as well, just not excited about OL in round 2. Not as high on Attaochu as most but wouldn't hate that either.

Kiper updated his 2nd rounder and has Attaochu, Hageman, Jernigan, and Jace Amaro all available when we select @ 52.

Hey stranger good to see you. I also love Jernigan. He played his butt

off and got wore down in the title game. I can see him or Carr going to

the Raiders.

my best available was going to Deonne Buchanon but he went #27. :)

There was a time when many teams had a philosophy of picking the best player available no matter what his position was. One GM recently said if you have two good QB's and the BPA is a QB in the draft you take him. He further said you can never have to many good QB's. Our old QB McCowan just signed a 2 year deal for I think around 5 million. Looking back at his play with us I would never have guessed this. He had a good year last year.

The issue with Van Noy is the same I had with Shazier; durability. I wouldn't spend a him pick on talent unless I felt confident he could be kept on the field. OLB is an injury-prone spot without taking someone with an injury history.

Yes please. Yes please.

God no. He has major injury history and speed guy not only beat him they destroy him.

Lets go TE or front 7 Hageman, Tuitt, Ealy, Van Noy, Attouchu(spelling), Jernigan I'm good with any of those guys

Id Be OK with Kuandjio in Rd2 considering that he'd be playing RT not LT. He can't handle speed rushers, but at RT I and in Rd2 I think its s decent fit

Exactly, he'd be drafted to play RT, where he'd do very well, IMO.

Solidify the line...

I can't imagine Ealy, Hageman or Nix will last this long. I like Troy Niklas, who can make the tough 3rd down reception and can really block well. I also think Jack Mewhort fits, but more as a guard who could become a right tackle eventually. Too many of the players listed above have major risk factors. No need to take a risk here.

Well played
