Now that our QB coach is our OC also, is Leinart going to get the attention he needs? Clearly Kruczek (spelling?) isn't going to be able to spend as much time with him as before. I'm worried this move hinders Leinart's development. I think it's silly to combine the two positions at this point in Leinart's career when he needs as much coaching as possible.

Just a thought.

Luckily our head coach is a QB guru.

I don't think it will matter because, as of right now, Kruczek is due to be on the sidelines calling plays. He will be able to give Matt alot of attention when he comes off the field. I don't know how that changes with Rowen likely not helping this team out any longer because he was slated to be the offensive eye in the sky. Who does that now??

I'm sure denny has a bass fishing buddy who could take on that role.

This is about the least of my concerns.

Leinart played in his first preseason game after a holdout and only 6 days in camp and lit it up.

On national sports radio on Tues, all the talk was either about the Cards meltdown, or how in the hell did 9 teams pass him up in the draft? Most NFL ready QB to ever come out of the draft since Marino.

Matt will be fine even without a fulltime QB coach. He needs someone to call better plays and coach up the line.

The more he can learn at this stage in his career, the better he will be.

I think you have raised a legitimate concern. Oh well...
