Today, the Arizona Cardinals played what, in my opinion, was their best game this season. They played the best total football game this year in my estimation, with a dominant win over their Division Rival Rams,

The offense was very balanced between run and pass. Carson Palmer was very accurate, and played with the best pocket presence he has played with all year.

The Offensive Line played their best ball of the season.

The Defense played superbly ALL GAME.

Special Teams kept us in good field position, and was great except for Feeley's two missed field goals.

At the beginning of this regular season, I predicted that this team would become good enough to play with any team. The proved so today, pretty much stifling a team that has been hot of late, and has played as well a nearly any in the league.

I did not predict any number of wins or losses, but I did say that this team would be fun to watch, and that they would play hard for 60 minutes when they came together. I also said that they would become a team that could play with anybody in the league, and they have.

Granted, this team has three games left this year, and they are not finished yet. They have their future in their own hands however, and from here on, anything is possible. Enjoy your Arizona Cardinals!!!!!

Too bad the NFC is a stacked deck.
Shows you how important each of the 16 games are.

No doubt! If anything, this team is fun to watch.

Watching this game with my buddy who's a Rams fan made it so much sweeter. After awhile, I almost felt bad for him. I found myself making excuses for the Rams.

49er-fan here who caught the game today, just wanted to drop in an acknowledge how well Arizona played. I know there is no love lost between the teams in the division but I feel strangely proud that the NFCW has essentially three strong playoff caliber squads (rams aren't far behind imo) that can compete/win against anyone. Good game.

Cards are fun to watch and it was pointed out in another thread that we have actually had 4 big to blow out victories this year.

It's such a shame that it took CP and the receivers almost half the year to get on the same page and understand the playbook fully.

Hugely impressed with the Oline play today. Great seeing Fitz being Fitz again.

The huge bummer is the Honey Badger getting hurt.

If we beat the 9ers in two weeks then I will fully believe he have a playoff caliber team. Doubt we make the playoffs but a great foundation has been laid this year.

Welcome, and thanks for acknowledging that. It is nice to welcome a fan from a different fan base who comes to the board with respect and knowledge. You possess both traits and I see no reason to be in any way derogatory toward you. Good fans are good fans. They are respectful of each other's accomplishments. This is a tough division, and I can only see it getting better for now. That can be a very good thing. I happen to believe that St. Louis is currently a better team with Clemons at the helm than they were with Bradford. He's still new and is learning but they play hard for him. I believe they will also continue to improve.

Now if the NFC West is so good then doesn't that mean this organization winning at least 8 games this year us that much more impressive?

Logic dictates that it would be.

Very impressive turn around for this team when comparing the 1st half of the season to the 2nd half.

Fair to say now the woulda, coulda, shoulda of the 1st game against the Rams and the Philly game.

Not if the Cards go 1-5 in the division.

I look at it this way. When BA was hired a lot were skeptical, even with all the FA acquisitions people were waiting to see and not expecting a lot in the first year, myself included. I am very pleased with how well this team has come around which makes me very excited for next year. Another off season, a draft, some more FA's and we will have another fun team to watch in 2014

I was very positive about BA from the git-go. Just watching his opening press conference was uplifting. It turns out most of the decisions he's made over the intervening months have been the right ones.

1. Releasing Kevin Kolb.
2. Acquiring {and sticking with} Carson Palmer.
3. Hiring Todd Bowles as defensive coordinator.
4. Patiently {or maybe not so patiently} staying with his offensive philosophy until the players 'got it.'
5. Handling the play-calling himself.

All-in-all, the future looks bright for the Arizona Cardinals. Unfortunately, the juggernaut NFC West will remain an uphill challenge for the foreseeable future. At least NOW, the Cardinals have the staff in place to be competitive IMO.

Was it not the first game of the year we lost to the Rams late by only a couple of points. Early on Feeley had missed a field goal that would have won the game. We might have been 9-4? Feeley did go on to kick lights out after that and earned his pay. Those games in the heavy snow yesterday reminded me of old time football.

We are still in this thing on 9 Dec. Amazing. I see rare few post about our GM anymore when bashing Graves was a regular last year.
