Oddly I think I underrated Rosen. His arm is actually better than I thought.

Start with the fact that Bradford, a QB with a history of excellent accuracy, couldn’t complete a pass with this team. Overthrows with rookie QBs are common. It’s adrenaline. It typically goes away after a bunch of repetitions. That’s why getting him all they can is important. Play action doesn’t slow the rush as the Cards aren’t a threat to run. They tried to run a screen with Edmonds and he has so little elusiveness he couldn’t get through traffic without the ball. All the drops likely have Rosen trying to be overly accurate and overthinking the problem. Then there was worrying about getting his OC fired. Did you see what happed to Munyer? Miller weighs 250, Munyer 305. You think Rosen is worried about his protection. A veteran might have handled it better, but he just looked like a rookie to me. Way too early to worry.

Josh Rosen is not the problem in Arizona. Stop it. Same goes for Patrick Peterson. Same goes for David Johnson. Same goes for Chandler Jones. They may have bad plays/games, but that happens when you are being put in situations to fail. We all know what the issue is, stop trying to find another.
Go back and re-read where I said he or those other players were the problem? Hell, where did I mention DJ, Jones, or PP at all? I'll wait, of course.

why did it take until down 30 something points in the 4th quarter to throw a swing pass to DJ on the move out of the backfield that gained an easy 7 yards and a first down?

that play should be a bread and butter play for this offense until the defense changes its approach to stop it (ala New England)

Been arguing this point all season.

Aikman kicking us while we were down was needed. The more the light is shined in Bidwill's face, the more things will change.

On social media I saw comments complaining about Aikman and Joe Buck's comments but I could not disagree with them. The Cards looked pathetic. No other words to describe it.

Rookie with a bad OL and terrible OC throws 5 interceptions, including 2 pick-sixes at the beginning of the game, and he is still fully vested in taking hits to get more points on the board in the fourth quarter.

I love the kid, he reminds me of Palmer with his demeanor and I hope he transcends Palmer's ability when we return to the playoffs under Leftwich.

Remember when Warner or Palmer had 5 int games. It happens to the best of them. Rosen is a rookie and he is going to make mistakes and should learn from the mistakes.

Interesting(?) factoid: the last QB to throw two pick-6's in the first quarter of a game? Colin Kaepernick! ;p

Rosen is going through the rookie grinder.

And Sam Bradford has a long, well established, career of never taking any team anywhere. The only type of team he could wind up in a playoff game with are the type that Brad Johnson or Rex Grossman succeeded with. Bradford needs a strong running game and a great defense to elevate him to something beyond mediocrity. If he does not have those thing and is forced to do heavy lifting himself... you get a QB who throws 4 yard out routes on 3rd and 8.

He's been the de-facto starter in basically every season of his career. He's never been in the playoffs, he's never had a winning season and, most damning, he's never been at the helm of a passing attack that was even in the top half of the league. Bradford is, at best, a game manager... with serious durability problems... who has almost no hope of leading a game winning drive late (one in the last 5 seasons).

Just to keep people from mentioning him as a pity case, I wish we'd cut him and bury the topic.

Wow. Lol..

You know man, we've scene this same shtick of yours before, although it's been a while.

Do you have Kevin Kolb tied up in your basement, and do you go down there and torture him every once in a while to get your jollies?

Will Bradford be joining him soon?

You're a weirdo bro. Straight up.

People get facts confused with hating. I took facts away from his post. Bradford was the #1 pick and had one borderline-great season in ten years. St Louis, Philly and Minnesota have all gotten rid of him and none of them regret it. Had he not had terrible luck with injuries we’re probably talking about a different legacy but we’re dealing with actualities here.

You're right Gator, but, the OP did not say a word about Bradford. The OP's entire post was solely about Rosen, but in the 3rd post of the thread, Pharzbit just completely goes off on Bradford for no apparent reason.

Maybe his facts are correct, but what was the point in ripping up Bradford again in this thread?

Edit ---- Pharzbit was reacting to something the Smell said.

But whatever, Pharzbit takes any chance to bash Bradford, just like he did Kolb.

You can’t make a realistic assessment on Rosen so far. He has no offensive weapons, no offensive line , and an abysmal coaching staff. Peyton Manning would look pedestrian with what we have .
