I wasn't very impressed with him last night so I understand why you started this thread, however, I also agree with everyone that says this train wreck going on isn't something you can just ignore in your analysis of him either.
My greatest fear is that this thing might ingrain itself into his psyche in ways he's not completely even aware of. This level of suckage is so bad that it could ruin nearly anyone "at least for a good while" and it's one reason I didn't want him playing for this staff.
You could say he has to learn sometimes, true, and it's ironic that Aikman was doing the game as he had a dreadful first season on a terrible team.
He went on to have an "ok" career and by the way since I'm mentioning him. Did anyone else not hear the contempt for the Cardinals in what he was saying that I heard?
Sheesh that punt on 3rd down comment was actually pretty savage comming from an actual commentator. I mean it was somewhat deserved but they aren't supposed to kick franchises when they are down like that I didn't think.
Anyway I don't know on JR yet, too soon to tell, but there was very little good to take out of that game I could see.
