Green is not the answer. And despite popular opinion, I do not hate the guy. I do think he is an incredibly overrated coach. I love the Cardinals. Always have. He is Buddy Ryan. Ryan brought in Seth joyner, an aging Clyde Simmons... and at that time folks (including myself) were thrilled with the additions. The talk of the day was... the Cards have turned the corner, the Cards are better... but they weren't. The Bids were fooled by Ryan's facade. And the same has happened with Green.

Let's step back, and take an honest look at the FOOTBALL that we've seen played by our Cardinals. I don't see hope. Not with this coaching crew, anyway.

If my dissatisfaction of Green doesn't sit well with you... ban me Mr. Moderator.

Chris, don't use my posts as a vehicle to deal with your frustration. There are enough twenty year olds out here that think they OWN the market on being a Cardinal fan.

My posts express my utter frustration with the Cardinals losing ways. I've been a fan, A REAL FAN, for thirty years, so don't think you or these little boys can dictate to me my thoughts on the subject.

This is America. This is Skkorps site. If I've broken the site's rules (or your sensibilities?) then ban me. End of story.

Green sucks as a coach period! He is a good talent evaluator thats the only job he should have. Every game since he has been here had questionable if not horrible coaching decisions.

Your avatar says it all... about the Cards, anyway. But yet, you toss this out at me.

Okay.

My avatar is directed at our POS players and their unbelievable inability to play football. Idiots like Dockett, Bryant Johnson, Warner, McCown, Step, Ross, Davis, etc. They all suck major ass.

As for coaching, I have and will believe in Dennis Green, because his system does work. I think he built the team wrong and I think the players he chose are underperforming.

Maybe people would take your act a little more seriously if you were a little more objective. I mean you havent shut up about Green being the enemy since it was first announced he was hired. We get it, you dont like him. Perhaps if you come up with some new ways to not liek him than he is 1. lazy 2. Fat 3. the blanket "he doesnt coach well" 4. He doesnt get in players faces etc etc

Also, I am not sure how you are a Real Fan and no one else is, regardless of age. but ok

I am not trying to be a jerk here, but it really is old. Why not specifically point out the things he did wrong in this game as a coach. Or what you think he ought to do....I can talk about that. But the endless dribble of how he is a "bad coach" who "makes bad decisons" and he is" lazy" doesntmake for good reading in my eyes...sorry!

Green sucks.

His system isn't working, his players aren't working.

About all he's done so far is upgrade our talent at certain positions.

The rest is a failure plain and simple.

"..And in this corner.."

I agree that DG has done some very questionable things personnel and coaching-wise; he is a fantastic talent-evaluator... Maybe player personnel should be his only job with a new head coach and Offensive Coordinator, or new coaching staff completely..He has hurt the cards in these past 2 years with both personnel and coaching decisions..

Fair enough. Since you ask, I will respond...

I don't rattle off statistics like some others (the smart ones you allude to? no disrespect intended to anyone) because, honestly, I don't have the time... so I just throw my thoughts out as a vent, thinking it's acceptable because, hey, its a freaking message board for football. My intent is not to impress anyone with my intellect.

Honestly, I just post to vent, not to aggravate anyone.

From what I have seen and watched I agree with you. This team has taken a giant step backwards this year from last. Worse, we do not have a lot of younger guys who are on the rise. We have some wide receivers and beyond that we are below average on nearly all phases of the game except punting and field goal kicking. Green is getting us so far behind the eight ball it will take a good coach another 3 or more years to dig us out. He has pulled the wool over the eyes of management and they are stuck with him. We are basically just a bad team. Bad defense, bad offense, bad coaching. What else can you say. I really do not know of any genie's to pull out of a hat. I was suckered by Green also. I did not know much about him but bought into the hype. I have watched enough of his moves and the Cardinal play to say I think he will continue to be a failure. McCown, Warner, the offensive line, our runners it is all of them and Green assembled the entire crew and if you do not believe what you see then look at our record. I would suggest we start next year by firing the entire coaching staff and get some experienced coaches in here. If I was a Bidwill I would fire Green at the end of the season as I think he is in over his head but they do not have the stomach for it so he will continue down this path until his 5 years runs out. He is not better than Buddy Ryan.

Green is not a good coach that I really cant dispute.

His personell decisions arent looking all that bright as of yet either. Some that were looking rosey like Dockett, Griffith, Warner, Ross, arent looking all that rosey anymore.

He has a long way to go. This is a very bad team. Our D which was supposed to be a strength is terrible and our O-line while better today still sucks.

All of that is the responsability of Dennis Green and nobody else.

Shane, like you, I'm just frustrated. I sure wish we would play good, solid, football. And I haven't seen that since Coryell.

Losing is a lot more old than complaining about Green. If one is happy with Coach Green then so be it. A lot of us are not. I often hear about Green's system. Can someone please define it? Our record speaks to his success. Not one rushing TD in the entire season! We are near the bottom in many categories. The only positive thing we can point to is Rackers. He has scored more points than the entire offense. What a sorry state of affairs. Green put this team together entirely by himself including the coaches. He brought his "mysterious" system with him. What he did in MN does not matter one bit. This is not about liking or not liking Dennis Green. It is about coaching football and putting a team together. We are on a slick down hill slide with not much hope of stopping.

red desert you do not need to apologize to anyone. You present your thoughts and make your case just like everyone else. That is what the board is for. As long an no one gets vulgar or insulting I read their post and agree or disagree. Sometimes I even learn from them.

You can be such a condescending twit sometimes. Hard to believe you're a moderator. Go back and check the value of your posts before you start criticizing others.

Or, why don't you just follow the rules of the board yourself. I've seen a lot of questionable posts out of you. As long as his thread contains no threats, profanity, or pornography, who cares what he posts?

If you don't care for the post, don't read it. Why hijack the thread and turn it into a pissing match?

I think the EE board needs some more pics of yourself. Go gratify yourself.

What's funny is my post threatened no banning, moderation, or anything.

I just said he could post one of dozens of other threads just like this and say the same thing...which is true.

I will second that as an opinion is not to be attacked. It also can be repeated and particularly after another painful loss.

Personally, I would let Green finish out his contract and see if he can make this thing go. Not looking good at the moment though.
