He didnt run around and chuck up prayers.

Murray compares to Baker Mayfield...who can run.

If you’re comfortable burning the #1 pick on him, trading Rosen for pennies on the dollar, and letting your division rival get one of the best defensive prospects in the draft, by all means. But there’s a good chance that Rosen, Bosa and Williams will thrive elsewhere and that Murray doesn’t live up to his potential.
....is it because he's tall?

I can acknowledge the red flags, like height and weight.

I just also see an NFL that is evolving before our very eyes. Hitting QB's, pass interference, the way the rules are adjudicated, is all changing rapidly.

The future of the QB position is not immobile QB's. Pocket passers, yes..... But not Drew Bledsoe level mobility.

We have no clue what a trade for Rosen will earn. But it seems fool hearty to disclose your hand before the bet is made.

How can you say that there is a good chance for Bosa, Rosen, & Williams but not for Murray? Again, it sounds like your defending a personal preference rather than being practical.

What about Rosen's performance, in college or the Pro's gives you any indication he will be anything better than an Andy Dalton level QB?
Here. Let me give you this instead ------>:bang:

FWIW Manziel had a career 69% completion rate .threw for 63 TDs with 22 interceptions and ran for 2100 yards in 2 years as a starter. So looks like a lot of those prayers got answered doesn`t it

If you are buying the goods you seem to prefer I wouldn`t pay full price until you get the grownup model.:)
I swear. Someone should have told and made you believe he was 6 ft. Then you'd be over here, with us sane folks..

Regarding snaps under center at 37%...Do you know how the 2 QB's in the SuperBowl did??? I know the answer...do you? Hint: It's way OVER 37%...and one of them led the league in snaps from under center. When a primarily shotgun QB and system starts routinely winning championships, call me.

What was the percentage of snaps under center for the Eagles? They beat the Patriots using RPO

Why would I? If I don`t like a prospect because I think he has flaws and is not worthy of TOP pick he could be 6`5 and I would not care.:jedi:

People need to realize that this is not about Josh Rosen. I personally love the kid and think he can be a good to somewhat good NFL QBs for a long time.

The real question you need to ask yourself is this: Will we ever be in the position to have the opportunity to draft a generational type prospect again in our lifetime?

Opportunities like this..... the synergy of coach, scheme, and personnel are very rare and we have the opportunity to be at the very leading edge of this new offensive revolution happening right now in this new version of the NFL.

It’s right there...... will you grab it? I still have a bit of faith in Steve Keim, and I think he recognizes this key point in our franchises history. Having the balls to hire BA..... Having the balls to hire KK. And now he has a chance to draft another key chess piece.

He won’t back down. He has the balls to grab destiny by the throat.

Kyler Murray will be a Cardinal.

Yes, we will be in that position someday. We're not in it now. Sorry man, I'm just not buying that Kyler's anything more than a Marcus Mariota someday.

For all of this "generational" crap, let's look at some of the best QBs in the game. Mahomes, Rodgers, Brady, Brees, Wilson... you can keep going down the line and these guys are not #1 overall picks. I know you're panicked because it's the first time in our lifetime we've had the #1 pick, but do you really think no great QB is ever going to come from somewhere but #1 ever again?

That's fair..... Not sure I would trust our front office past #1 though.

Keim is the guy who wanted Bortles, drafted nkemdiche & reddick.

Maybe drafting at 1 is the only way he gets it right in the first round. hahaha
