Better off silent
Took me a while, but I just watched episode 7 of season 1 and am finally hooked. The actress playing Poppy is just fantastic.
This makes sense. Season 1 is good, but not great…. Like it’s still trying to figure out exactly what the show/tone is:Took me a while, but I just watched episode 7 of season 1 and am finally hooked. The actress playing Poppy is just fantastic.
Yea, the flashback episode of season one is really when it hooks you in and never looks back. This makes sense. Season 1 is good, but not great…. Like it’s still trying to figure out exactly what the show/tone is:
And then they hit the ground running in Season 2 and never look back.
Just wait… they’re gonna tickle your funny bone then turn on your water works in upcoming episodes. We don't deserve an episode as good as "Quarantine."
I agree with you onE1. E2 was very similar. E3 I thought was better though. At least the first 90% and then the end was more E1 quality. There was some good stuff with Ian, Cricket, and Jo in it.Only 1 episode in S3. Didn't think it was a great episode.
Is it me or does it feel more like all these silo stories occurring verses it being more cohesive interaction with all the characters?Yeah, I'm not feeling it. The poker episode has been the only really good one. The whole Ian-Poppy thing has been weird. I'm wondering if they switched gears after the first couple episodes due to Charlotte Nicdao getting pregnant. It sort of has the feel like they did the first 2 before the writer's strike then when they started back up after it she was pregnant IRL and they had to pivot in the show.
