Took me a while, but I just watched episode 7 of season 1 and am finally hooked. The actress playing Poppy is just fantastic.
This makes sense. Season 1 is good, but not great…. Like it’s still trying to figure out exactly what the show/tone is:

And then they hit the ground running in Season 2 and never look back.

Yea, the flashback episode of season one is really when it hooks you in and never looks back.

I have been trying to catch up. I just started Season 3 this past week and it's just been OK for me. I really loved Season 2 and the "Backstory" episode was fantastic. I just looked it up. A couple of episodes away from the Poppy flashback episode so I can't wait since everyone has loved it.

I'm not crazy over the new season so far. E3 was funny but I'm not feeling this Ian-Poppy shipping story line.

Only 1 episode in S3. Didn't think it was a great episode.

I agree with you onE1. E2 was very similar. E3 I thought was better though. At least the first 90% and then the end was more E1 quality. There was some good stuff with Ian, Cricket, and Jo in it.

Yeah… this season hasn’t been as strong as the others.

Yeah, I'm not feeling it. The poker episode has been the only really good one. The whole Ian-Poppy thing has been weird. I'm wondering if they switched gears after the first couple episodes due to Charlotte Nicdao getting pregnant. It sort of has the feel like they did the first 2 before the writer's strike then when they started back up after it she was pregnant IRL and they had to pivot in the show.

Is it me or does it feel more like all these silo stories occurring verses it being more cohesive interaction with all the characters?

The pregancy storyline isn't working for me. It's a tired cliche in a show that usually turns cliches on their head.

Super bummed. Seems like they may have had an inkling though since they are dropping a reworked final episode next week.

It ran out of gas this season. Solid second show from Rob and Co, though.

It was hanging on by a thread though. The whole pregnancy storyline was cliched crap.

It was so bad. I've always loved this show but this season and especially the finale has me not caring if they get another season now. Even if they do I might dip on the show.
