Make you bubble over with '_' yeah! and do victory laps spilling your drink around your living room or man cave if the Cardinals drafted him in the first

1) Cardinals traded up to four and take Baker Mayfield

2) Rosen slides and the Cardinals move up a few to take him

3) The Cardinals stay pat and are able to draft Lamar Jackson

The Cards aren’t drafting Jackson @ 15. Accept it. Quite honestly, I’ll be surprised if he’s a 1st rounder at this point. Dude is dumb. It’s unfortunate but it’s reality.

Ok, let me clarify what I mean, you do not have to take my scenarios to choose from, this is not a poll for that reason... what are your own three scenarios which would make you beaming with happiness

Trade back into 20's and take:

1. Lamar Jackson

2. OC James Daniels

3. OG Isaiah Wynn

4. LB Leighton Vander Esch

5. LB Rashaan Evans

What are they giving up to move up?

I'm a realist and would think Mayfield would require a ton to move to four but I would be willing for him. My bad on the title, just fix that... what are your three ideal scenarios for the draft

Number 3 I feel is most likely going to happen.

#1 Trade down and still get one of the top four QB's.
#2 Use the highest pick we then have (probably higher then #47 due to the trade down) and get Christian Kirk. Perhaps even trading up a few picks.
#3 Utilizing the next pick we have, 2nd or 3rd rounder and get the Patriots to trade us Rob Gronkowski.
#4 Use our next pick on a injury sliding Billy Price
#5 Next pick on the best outside WR on the board
#6 Use day 3 picks to fill needs

Billy Price or Mike Mcglinchey at 15 then pair our 2nd and one of our thirds to get Lamar Jackson somewhere around 26. Good olineman and our qbof.

Trade up to select either Sam Darnold, Josh Rosen or Josh Allen in the first round.

Pick Frank Ragnow in the second round.

Pick Anthony Miller in the third round.

I wouldn’t call Jackson dumb. The wonderlic is a timed test meaning, if he’s like me, he could be a slow reader. I took the online version, not sure how similar it is, but I tried to go as fast as I could and couldn’t get through 40 of those questions. I scored a little higher than Jackson, but that’s because I’m good at math. I wouldn’t consider myself dumb, I’m just a slow reader.

From what I’ve read about Jackson is he’s a student of the game and improved every season when talent around him diminished. I think his ceiling is as high as it gets as a playmaker/ QB.

If we trade up to get any of those qb’s, we won’t have second or third rounders for a couple years...

You could easily be correct, but they could offer another package of picks and maybe even players. We don’t know.

The other thing is that this thread is about scenarios that would make us jump for joy.

You may be right but we have enough holes as it is IMO. What position do you think we could afford to be trading away players from? I’d love to grab a top q.b. too I’m just not seeing how it’s feasible.

what would get me tickled and jumping for joy?? Hmmmm....

we get a repeat of the last time we drafted a top tier QB, and somehow Sam Darnold slides in the draft and is there when we pick....

if we were to get that lucky I would be thrilled.

If we were able to get Rashaad Penny in the fourth round I would be stoked.

if we pulled off

Darnold
Sutton
Ragnow
Cobbs
Penny

in the first four rounds I would be totally ecstatic

At 15 I would be happy with:

Lamar Jackson (or any QB that slides)

Josh Jackson CB

Calvin Ridley WR

Three positions that Kevin has ignored way to much.

I would be happy with either Darnold or Mayfield in the first round. Whatever it takes to get them. If we lose out on a qb be I would be happy with Vita Vea or one of the top corners. Do not want a wr in the 1st. You can get good receivers in the later rounds.
