Recently heard Michael Bidwill

answering that question. He just said they were talking to several interested parties. The impression I got was he was satisfied with what was happening.

This was before the draft, and certainly before the indication of a sell out.

I read it was Budweiser who had the rights. Even saw some pictures.

Thats was just for the "redzone" inside of the stadium in one of the endzones.

They only have the drinking rights. Which means we can only sell Budweiser at the stadium. They dont have naming rights.

At least that is how I understood that deal.

I think that they will sell other brands of beer, but that Budweiser will be "featured". Otherwise I'll have to smuggle in my case of Corona each game.

Right, it won't just be Budweiser, but they will have the aforementioned "Red Zone" and most, if not all, of the interior signage.

While I've already read it won't happen, I'd love to go to the Googleplex.

The Heat Index in the Repulsive on Sunday said that the two guys who owned Google were going to buy the naming rights. Haven't heard anymore since then.

Hhaha, that would be awesome. Its probably a bit too silly for most fans who like to act tough though.

My money is on Toyota.

I'll say it again - because I believe that the naming rights will be for the field:

Toyota Field at Cardinals Stadium.

I heard an interview this morning with the VP of marketing and he said that the rights were becoming more and more of a hot property. Looks like they are looking for the highest bidder.

Well it would have to be that or the Toyota Dome since there is a Toyota Stadium in Japan.

And, as we've mentioned before, the Houston Rockets play in the Toyota Center.

Too bad Basha's not bigger. It would kind of fun for the Cards to play in "the Bash"

Call Cardinal football: "Bashball."
