I remember watching those games with my brother. Two of our best friends were HUGE Laker fans. After the first two losses they were relentless. They were calling us talking trash for days and days. It was unbearable but we got em back.

Watch the game bro, its not you that determines a win or loss no matter what you think of that superstition. If we lose, we lose. At least enjoy it, this team showed a lot of heart this year (did any of us expect to be in Game 6 of the WCF at the start of the year?!).


No one considered us to stand a chance against the Spurs, we showed them and we continue to show that we aren't going to lay down and take it in the rear by any team.

Nash is a true leader. One of the reports mentioned that some of the young bench was dejected after the tough loss. This is great leadership, going out of his character and try to up lift their spirits. Last thing you want is get this loss mentally affect you for game 6.

IMO this is being way overhyped. What's he going to say...."Geez, I hope we win"? It's not quite on the level of Westphal. He didn't exactly guarantee that they were going to win game 6 and then go to LA and win the series.

The team has to believe they are going to win game 6. Otherwise, they have no chance.
