2k9 online is the worst trash I have ever played on 360. I can't believe they took a step down like this.

1. There is no more online lobbies. Now 2k9 just automatically matches with whoever they want. Not that easily. In the last 1 week, probably 4 games actually connected for me. Usually I have to restart the system because the "connecting to a host" message will be the display for minimum 5 minutes.

2. Lags, when it could only get worse. Its nearly impossible to shoot free throws consistently due to constant lags. And 3 pt shots cannot get any easier, like there wasn't enough abusers. When I am capable of hitting 5 3s with Grant Hill, there is a problem. 2k9 also killed the way I played 2k8. There is no more fastbreak buckets, its over. Even LB blows off open lay ups 2 on 1.

Speaking of abusers, just wait and see how many new Celtics and Laker fans are on the block. One dude scored 67 pts on my, 50 was just by Kobe. Then he pauses the game in the middle and shows off the pts Kobe has in the middle of the game.

Oh, 5 on 5 online never works. "Waiting for opponent" message shows up every 3 secs and the game doesn't even actually start. I had to turn off the system before even the tip off. I have only tried it once.

Sounds like lots of network issues. They should be able to fix that. I agree that no online lobbies sucks. I was one of the few that blasted Halo's online matching system that now every freaking game is starting to gravitate towards. I hate it.

Also, hopefully, they stay true to their word and update players attributes as the season goes on. They are suppose to update player attributes based on how they are playing at the moment which should do away with "some" of what your talking about.

Sucks to hear you don't like it. Maybe I won't buy an NBA game this year. The NBA Live 09 demo sucked. Camera angles, game play, the way moves are initiated in the paint.....I could go on.

wow no online lobbys weak that is how I always found who I was going to play.... and the lag issues sound horrible on all the other forums i've read about this game also. I will probally wait a month or so and see if 2k fixes these problems before I buy it i'll just keep playing madden 09 call of duty 4 and halo 3 should keep me busy till than.

Last whole week, not even one frickin game actually started for me.

I seriously wish I could return this. Too bad they dont take games back.
