Glad I didn't watch that year live. Whoever was in charge of the graphics screwed up pretty bad by listing Phoenix as the team with the #11 pick for a minute before correcting it.

6 hours and you know they'll stretch the broadcast out until the last possible minute. Hopefully the Suns aren't called at #4.

I don't know how in the world they've turned it into an hour long show. And I don't know why in the world we're dumb enough to spend a precious hour of our life watching that stupid thing. But we will.

With the telecast starting at 4:30, and reading "the draft order revealed at around 5:20, if we don't want to watch the Suns lower drafts, can't we just tune in around 5:15?

Or would we have missed seeing live where our first pick falls? They do go from the latest picks to the earliest, don't they?

The question is, do you feel lucky. ;)

I dislike the hype as well.

What do you mean the Suns lower drafts? This is just announcing the draft order. We already know the Suns will have the #16 pick from Miami so there isn't anything to see but hype about all of the top prospects and what the teams in the lottery need.

Oops, my bad. I keep forgetting that this is just about are we 1, 2, 3 or 4.

Thanks.

The second pick in the daft was the top pick with Kevin Durant.

Trae Young already seeing the #4 writing on the wall and sending out a message to Suns fans:

"My favorite player growing up was Steve Nash".

It's like the NBA is cushioning things for Suns fans by having Finley for the Mavs and Elliot Perry for the Grizzlies, so the #3 and #2 teams both have past Suns favorites so it's a little harder for Suns fans to curse them and be angry seeing them overtake them in the draft order.

So the much talked about Lakers pick is #10 this year. That's Brandon Knight, basically. Not as bad as it could have been. Glad it's finally being conveyed and won't be discussed as an asset anymore. It seems once a pick is used it stops being mentioned as often. We traded that over 2 years ago but it still would be included in a number of discussions about McD's deals and assets the Suns had.

Didn't realize the Clips had two lotto shots.

And glad 76ers got stuck.

It was a lingering sore spot no doubt.
