All Suns fans can be taken off of suicide since we didn't fall to #4 but I think some might need to be checked on to make sure they didn't have a heart attack in response to seeing us get the #1 pick.

Me....right after they revealed the #2 pick.......

I think BK is going to be very useful this year if we don't add another pg. Igor will be great for him.
Yes, BK will definitely be much better now that he has blown out a knee.

I just hope they don’t force things with him. If he can earn minutes fine but I’ll disappointed if the give him unwarranted minutes just because he has a ridiculous contract.

We finally have the #1 pick. And in a draft with legit talent. I have tried not to let my expectations rise since seasons end, but failed miserably. I have now found a place of peaceful zen. And of course our puppy has giardia.

Anyone notice the Gilbert kid.

With a beard.

I got worried when I saw him, he's been their good luck charm in previous lotteries. I was really surprised he had a beard though. That made me feel old. It's only been 3-4 years since I last him at the lottery drawing though so I guess he was just older than he looked previously. He's 21 years old, from what I've seen online. I wish I had a beard like that at 21, took me until I was 30 to be able to grow a full beard.

I feel like a curse has been lifted for the Suns after losing out on Kareem and David Robinson with the #1 pick. This is huge. It has been an overbearing weight on the history of the Suns franchise for something like 50 drafts... never having the #1 pick.

Ryan McDonough said it well.

“This is one of the few things that’s never happened in the illustrious history of this franchise,” McDonough said. “To bring home the No. 1 pick in such a loaded draft at a critical point in time for our franchise is just unbelievable.”

Now everything seems possible.

The Suns numbers actually came up the first three times. The second two had to be thrown out because we already had #1.

After 49 years of futility, that is truly amazing. Not only the #1 pick, but it was triplicated. That is a bunch of exclamation points !!!

The luck on that Gilbert kid has expired. The Suns has a younger, cuter luckier kid.

Wow,,,, finally! It's been so long since Suns fans have had something to be truly excited about. Wohoo!

I think many Suns fans are still in a state of shock.

I'm still having problems getting my head around it. Things like this do not happen to the Suns... at least the old Suns.

remains to be seen if they're the old or new Suns. We'll definitely know when they make the pick, but until then, I can't lie. I'm a little nervous they find a way to screw this up.

But just a little nervous. I'm OVERWHELMINGLY ELATED!
