All Utah Jazz players and personnel -- including Rudy Gobert and Donovan Mitchell -- have been cleared by the Utah Department of Health, per team. DOH has determined that no Jazz player/staffer poses a risk of infection to others.

Sources: The NBA’s “NBA Together” program is supporting National COVID-19 Convalescent Plasma Project of top specialists on plasma as potential treatment for coronavirus — and has asked for team individuals who have recovered to consider donating plasma.

Among the options, if the Suns resume regular season play their remaining 6 home games could be played at Arizona Veterans Memorial Coliseum. This would allow construction to continue at Talking Stick Resort Arena.

Team officials informed The Republic a letter was sent out to team partners to give them a heads up that Arizona Veterans Memorial Coliseum could be where the Suns play their final six home games if they're able to play out their regular season as the season has been is on hold due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Phoenix's remaining six home games are against Minnesota, Dallas, Cleveland, Chicago, Utah and the Los Angeles Lakers. The Suns plan to address seating and ticketing once the NBA announces their plans on resuming the season.

There is discussion about withholding 25% of player's remaining salaries putting it into escrow.

It would be more exciting than the 3-point contest of All Star weekend.

And, with the slam dunk contest becoming a bore and a scam in the scoring, with props being more important than the shot,
a H-O-R-S-E competition would probably be more exciting than that as well.

Wearing a Superman cape doesn't affect the winner of a H-O-R-S-E match. It would be a return to pure basketball skills,
with a variety greater than 23-foot shots. Who knows? Maybe if this exhibition works, it might find its way into All Star weekend.

Looks like we will not have an answer about starting the season until at least May 1st.

Tim Bontemps‏Verified account @TimBontemps

Adam Silver says he's told his people with the NBA that there will be no way to have a real answer about where things are headed in terms of starting the season again until, at a minimum, May 1.

NBA looks at rapid-test options as a way forward.

From ESPN:

Multiple league sources close to the situation said the league and players union have been looking at what those familiar with the matter describe as "diabetes-like" blood testing in which someone could, with the prick of a finger, be tested quickly and results could be gained inside of 15 minutes.

That's great and I love basketball... But.... Why can't we get these kinds of tests out to the hotspots and saves lives? Have I smoked so much weed in the last month I've become a communist or something?

Agree 100% although things have been rolled out so slowly it may take pro sports to lead the way. They have the money to get it done. The national government has been slow taking the lead.
