Bender's timidity and softness spread to his teammates when he was on the court. We already have too much of that in Saric and Cam...

I'd rather see talk about a big man who would be more than #16 or 17.

Agreed, but I also don't want proactively negative influences (Bender, in addition to Saric and Cam) seeing any court time at all for the Suns.

The same here. Suns need to make a trade for a 4/5.

Still having a couple of young players on two way contracts that may have a future can't hurt.

That's fine but it doesn't negate the fact the Suns have an open Two-Way slot to fill in the next week or they risk losing the opportunity to add another Two-Way player this season. Would you rather see them take a shot on a young player who might be able to help or stand pat? It's a no brainer, IMO.

No one is suggesting it's the only thing that should be done. It doesn't change the fact the team needs depth at the 4 & 5 to compete this year. Adding a young player they can use as a stop gap until they can address that position is a much better way to go forward than ignoring the problem entirely and hoping we can find a trade to fill those holes, without creating new holes in the process.

Again, why the heck didn't Jones try to fill that spot 4 months ago? It's gone to waste for 4 freaking months. It was no secret that we could use another interior player to develop, and that the rebuild wasn't over. James Jones is clearly in over his head.

I'm pretty certain that Bender would have gone to Europe over taking a 2 way contract with us.

Unless the Suns are going to have room on their roster next season and suggest he will be given the opportunity to make the team.

Kings are reportedly interested in Kyle Kuzma.

Sacramento is among the teams that has tried to engage the Lakers in Kyle Kuzma trade talks, league sources say. The Kings know they would have to include sharpshooter (and soon-to-be restricted free agent) Bogdan Bogdanovic, for starters, in a Kuzma deal

I think I disagree. It depends on what you are expecting of him. If you want a center, yes, he is overmatched. But at the PF or even SF position he can play. He has the speed, agility, and even the skills to play. To me, his problem is between his ears.

He doesn’t have speed agility or skills.

Would Baynes be better for the Lakers? I'd make that deal, Baynes for Kuzma, easily. I'd throw in Saric as well. Not sure what the Lakers would be after. Kuzma would be a solid addition at PF for the Suns.

I know he's not the Ibaka type PF the Suns need to add next to Ayton but he's still on his rookie deal and he would be a solid starter for the time being.

I'd prefer to see him used as a Sixth Man but they need 5 good starters before they can add a good scoring bench player.

They already have Davis, Howard and McGee. I dont see Baynes fits with the Lakers, he'd be the most un-athletic and least protective of the rim, and won't due well with a Lebron pick and roll.

why the hell would the Lakers do that? They've got a good stable of big men already who are playing good defense and need three point shooters at G/SF who can also create.

Besides, something tells me James Jones is about to do waive Tyler Johnson, so they can pick him up for nothing, whereafter Johnson suddenly remembers how to shoot and exercise reasonable shot selection again...

I'd give up a first round pick for Kuzma.

I could see Boston wanting Baynes back. I just do not know what they would give up for him.

Can't see Ainge admitting it was a mistake to trade him away, which is what trading for him back would be doing. Anything more than giving us the Bucks pick would make him look pretty bad. I wouldn't send him back for just the Bucks pick either, or Boston's own pick. There has to be a better deal out there.

I know Dwight was playing well to start the season but wasn't sure about McGee. That's why I asked if Baynes would be a fit there. I know Davis has spoken out about how he doesn't want to play Center full time.

I didnt' realize Kuzma was 6'8", he looks smaller. If we'd have kept Daniels lol we could trade him there. Seriously, Kuzma would help our foward problems but might still be undersized.

I'm wondering if Jrue Holiday finally gets traded? If people haven't noticed Lonzo Ball had his 4th straight 20 point game last night, 27, 23, 24, and then 21 last night, he has 32 assists in the 4 games(10 twice) and 26 rebounds. In the past everytime he played well he'd get hurt, but if he is able to stay healthy it'll be interesting to see if the Pels think theyc an get something in trade for Jrue and pull the trigger. It may just be a hot streak of course but the fixing of his shot seems to be working, 17-37 from 3 in those 4 games, only 4-7 on FT's but if they were going to trade Jrue, now would be the time.

Kuzma would be a serious talent upgrade for the Suns not that it's going to happen.

they are doing pretty well playing Jrue and Lonzo together. Jrue is playing the 2.
