NC State women's basketball made its first Final Four appearance in 25 years last season, finally breaking through after a run of three straight ACC tournament championships and a heartbreaking 2022 Elite Eight loss in double-overtime to UConn in the Huskies' home state.
This season, NC State (26-7) claimed the league's regular-season title and won 22 of its last 25 games with an 8-7 record against Quad 1 teams and six wins over AP Top 25-ranked programs.
The Wolfpack will open March Madness at Reynolds Coliseum in Raleigh, earning the right to host via top-16 ranking by the NCAA Selection Committee. NC State will host first- and second-round games March 21-24.

The Wolfpack earned the No. 2 seed in the Spokane Region by the selection committee and will host No. 15 Vermont (21-12) in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. The winner of that game will advance to play either No. 7 Michigan State or No. 10 Harvard.
The Wolfpack lost center River Baldwin and grad forward Mimi Collins from last year's Final Four squad, but they return an elite group of guards with the experience to make another run. Sitting at 100-1 odds to win it all in ESPN's national championship betting odds, the Wolfpack are comfortable in ambush position and they have all they need to reach a second straight Final Four.
