That is a really bad idea. Remember, you heard it here first.xc_hide_links_from_guests_guests_error_hide_media
Problem was all the SEC teams that didn’t make it had pretty big warts that made them easy to leave outIndiana is just the most recent over ranked fraud from the Big 10 benefitting from a joke of a schedule.
Doesn't change the fact that in the SEC Indiana is Vanderbilt.Problem was all the SEC teams that didn’t make it had pretty big warts that made them easy to leave out
Not this yearDoesn't change the fact that in the SEC Indiana is Vanderbilt.
Saying Indiana is Vanderbilt this year isn't a vicious slam. I liked Vandy. Hell, I like Indiana. But other than beating the most mediocre Washington and Michigan teams in over 10 years they beat nobody good. The only truly good team they played absolutely annihilated them. Not this year
There’s nothing to indicate that Alabama Ole Miss, or South Carolina would’ve done any better against Notre Dame
And quite a bit of evidence that they would’ve done far worse
It shows how big home field is in these games. especially in the cold weather with southern teams going north.Good Lord. After three bad, non-competitive games already here comes Tennessee saying, "You think those games were bad? Hold my beer!"
Of all of those teams I think South Carolina had the best chance of beating Notre Dame, including Indiana. but South Carolina might not have played N.D. anyway if they had gotten in. I don't think SC or any of those 3 loss SEC teams deserve to be in there regardless. Not this year

I didn’t watch Colorado/BYU. I did watch the Arkansas/Texas tech and USC/A&M games. Arkansas a SEC team not known for their offense destroyed Texas tech’s defense. And the aggies blew a 24-7 lead over USC. Both of those games were fun.I opted to skip watching the Suns and Cardinals lose last night, and enjoyed some of the Alamo Bowl, kind of a fun one. BYU came to play, Colorado did not. S. Sanders did not seem to help his draft status, bad decision-making threw 2 picks. Retzlaff had some great runs but also looked really bad as a QB, threw 4 picks, but one was called back and one was on a 2 point conversion attempt. Travis Hunter had some amazing plays, but wasn't enough to beat a dialed in BYU team.

It was almost like the Aggie secondary was on the take. They went from smothering their WRs to them running free all over the place. It was like two completely different teams went out there in the middle of the game. I KNEW when Reed scored with 1:43 to put A&M back in the lead USC would zip down the field and score.Surprised at the USC win. Cowherd was criticizing their play calling on twitter, Next thing you know he was praising them
Yes, Indiana only had to play the two teams that were in the national championship game last yearSaying Indiana is Vanderbilt this year isn't a vicious slam. I liked Vandy. Hell, I like Indiana. I do think Miami or Alabama are better and would beat Indiana. But, it's a mild beef with the 12 team system. Just pointing out it's another fluke Big 10 team with a cupcake schedule. Nobody worth a crap out of conference and bottom feeding in the conference. Next year it will be Iowa or Wisconsin or some other grossly overrated 3rd team from the Big 10 to get in.
What happened to Cowheard? I saw a YouTube video recently of him interviewing Vince young. I forgot all about him until I saw that video. I stopped listening to him after the build up to the Texas/USC game all those years ago. He was basically a USC fanboy, I know he was a pac 10 guy though. I remember he was on ESPN radio back then when I lived at Luke AFB.Surprised at the USC win. Cowherd was criticizing their play calling on twitter, Next thing you know he was praising them
Come on. This year's Washington and Michigan were a shadow of last year's teams.Yes, Indiana only had to play the two teams that were in the national championship game last year
texas beat Michigan in Ann Arbor this year when at the time both were ranked. I don't think Michigan was that good this year, although they were talented enough to beat Ohio State. I don't think Indiana should get much credit for beating Michigan when Texas beating Michigan in a non conference game is shrugged off as not that big of a deal.Come on. This year's Washington and Michigan were a shadow of last year's teams.
