and he can't hit a jumper on camera to save his life! Poor Blucas... he'll never live down one miserable day of the most host horrific shooting i've ever seen when Matt and TK play one on one in the next episode.

Poor guy, Tim should have taught him how to use the backboard. Or, at a minimum, how to get bailed out by the refs. Seriously, I think this guy has quite a bit of appeal to a wide age range of women which can't hurt a show that clearly wants to interest the female viewer.

Loved It!

Watched it this morning on my computer. My wife started watching and got hooked as well. I'm adding this to the DVR for sure.

This was probably one of the best pilots I've seen in a while. All of the characters were perfectly cast and there was excellent character development over the hour long show. I was really really impressed. I think you have a winner here.

Congrats! :thewave:

got to ask though.. I'm assuming you didn't write the part where Dani tells the fan to "not be so negative at the team he is a fan of."

;)

Just watched the pilot. Crazy that a Cardinals fan would be able to write a football show. ;)

In the promos it says it's loosely based on true events. Are the true events just the general WR diva (ie TO), or is there more specifics that go into it than that?

Before he was Riley Finn he was a guard on the Tim Duncan led Wake Forest team. My wife wants more Riley Finn too.

Steve
...and before that, he was Marcus Blucas from Elk Valley Elementary where a 6-year-old Linderbee chased him around the playground (he was damn cute then, too!) :D

bumpidy bump! new episode airs tonight where Dr. Dani tackles more issues with TK and an Anderson Cooper-esque National News anchor who's a real crack up... on the air.

I have to say, I really like the cast so far in addition to the ones already discussed. I've always liked Amanda Detmer and I can't think of his name but I like the guy that played the teacher (Max) on Gilmore Girls and Craig Bierko is perfect as the soon-to-be ex-husband. I didn't recognize him at first until his voice gave him away. It's hard to believe that's the same guy that played the bad guy in Long Kiss Goodnight - he's not fat but he must weigh 50 pounds more than he did in that role.

We're looking forward to tonight's episode, hope it's as solid as the first one.

I liked the 2nd episode better than the first. Danni's involuntary fantasies about the trainer were really funny. The plot with the reporter was good too, I liked how she slowly chipped away at his defenses and finally got to the heart of the manner. It was like real therapy, not just typical therapist clliche's like most shows do (you know where the combative, defensive, irrational patient resists everyone in the world but the moment the therapist has them in their office they immediately shed all their defenses, start crying and all their wounds are magically healed.)

Good stuff Cheese, I'll keep watching.

Holy Cow! That's freaking awesome. Congrats!

You guys really deserve it. It's truly been a great show so far. Way way way better than that other emergancy room show you did.

It's all about the characters. I felt instantly connected with the characters on this new show. Great stuff!
