I want to take my 5 year old to his first baseball game on start wars night. I have never purchased tickets to a baseball game myself and I am not sure what the best route is. I have been to a couple games before, in company seats, and I know I cant afford that area.

Can anyone recommend a good site for reasonably priced seats?
Is anyone potentially selling a pair for that night?
Is it better to just buy them at the park on game day?

Thank You in Advance!

Honestly, download the MLB Ballpark app, register, and then go the game and get the cheapest seats (or stubhub) you can on the street. About 45 minutes (I think) before first pitch, you can check in for upgrades. You should be able to get a couple of decent seats in lower level for $19.95 upgrade. I've been doing it for a couple of seasons (season tickets this year) and it's an excellent way to get into some decent seats without breaking the bank.

Another decent way is go to Stubhub, filter your search for sections 140-142 and look for row 11. It's the first row on the wall in left field. They're is usually a couple for sale. Depending on the game, they can be as low as $23, probably higher for the Saturday game since its Star Wars and the Gnats. Great seats to take the little one, and hopefully you can watch a Drury blast go over your head. [emoji6]

This is the only way to go. I have done this many times, buying tickets for around $5, and then upgrading 30 minutes before the game starts. We usually get tickets in the "letter sections between the dugouts right by the field. You have full access to the bar and bathrooms beneath home plate (Audi Quattro Private Lounge). Even if you don't care about all that, the seats are amazing for a $20 upgrade. I usually get a call or text saying "hey, we just saw you guys on TV".

Thank You! I think I will look into those 140-142 seats and also watch for an upgrade on the app. I really appreciate the help.

I usually park at 3rd St and Jefferson. Either under Hard Rock - enter off Jefferson or 3rd, or on the west side of 2nd st.

Hey, if you're taking your kid I would favor the front rows of the upper deck over the back rows of the lower one. Not only are the tickets cheaper in the upper deck but IMO the view is unquestionably more impressive. Once you get about 25-30 rows back in the lower bowl you can no longer track fly balls, or really feel the massive scale of the park, because the seats above you obstruct the view.
