Class guy, anyone that says he won't fit in, well are not basketball savy. This guy played 38 min a game and was always, and I mean always tripled team and sometimes gaurded by four players. You want someone that has a midrange jumper? Ikes your man. You need a defensive rebound? Ikes your man. You need someone to come over for a weakside block? Ikes your man. Plus he would be our best low post player with the exception of Amare just flat out jumping over evryone. Don't think that he can't run with this team, ASU just did not have good gaurd play to push the tempo..

I agree, and it has nothing to do with the fact that he played for ASU.

He's got:

size (6-9 with a 7-4 wingspan)
skills (he and Bogut are the two highest skilled big men in the draft)
rebounding (averaged double figures)
range out to the 3.

No, but the Suns sure could of used the likes of one Mario Bennett this year. Man if that guy did not have the knee problems he had. He was the most explosive big man I had ever seen when he was a freshman. He was still explosive his Jr year after 2 knee injurys. To bad Frieder ruined him by just having him play with his back to the basket and never developed a shot outside of 5ft. O'well I guess this story has been played out many a time across the country..

I would love for the Suns to get this guy over any other player in the draft. You don't need to be an ASU fan to not want Ike. He fits like a glove. That being said, I bet he won't slip past the Lakers @ 10.

Sounds like if the Suns are interested in Diener (like I hope they are) they might have to move up in the second round. He has had some great workouts for LA and Utah (current article on draftcity).
