To be fair since the Suns are playing so much zone this year it's the entire team getting torched not just Nash.
So before the Suns traded for Shaq, the team knew one of the biggest problems with them was P&R D. So we trade away our player that helped cover for Nash's "DP deficiencies and brought in one of the worst P&R "D" big men. That makes sense.

I am not quick to say they are done for the season, its just 2 heart breaking losses, but this team is too talented not to make the playoffs.

I would rather just tank. At this point, I don't think thats even necessary.

They lost because they didn't have ways or unwilling to pass the ball to Amare for long stretches. Amare were perfect on offense. Yet, you find a way to blame it on him?

uh, I said this TEAM is a joke. I didn't lay sole blame on him. Just said he was too dumb/mentally weak to be a superstar. That was a general comment only backed up by his incredible stupidity tonight in getting T'd out of the game.

Are you all gonna sing to a different tune if before the all star break they go on like a 10 or so game winning streak? Like I said, these losses are tough but its too early to make an generalization on the season.

Technicals for what. Worse is done in church leagues or pickup games. Refs are ridiculous. Players used to get in their face and unless they spewed profanity, there was usually no technical. Then you couldn't get in their face. Now you can't react to their BS calls or non-calls that should have been.

You ever been in competition when you are called for something you didn't do. Don't react now. Smile because we don't want real emotions. This is just for the owners to make money from the fans. And Stern wants you to know your place, wear what we say and if you talk about it to the media with any criticisms we take your money. NBA where Phony happens.

I think he dropped a F-bomb, plus he was being a hot head in the 4th quarter and was asking for one sooner or later.

Does Colangelo have any kind of position with this association anymore?

I don't think Kerr is man enough to can Porter since he signed him and it wasn't fully a business decision. The only person above him is Sarver, he is just a male cheerleader. Basically nobody in our front office who can oppose Kerr.

We are in some real bad hands.

I think it would be too early to fire Porter, I mean we are 4 games above .500 and it is only 18 games into the season...

If this is directed at me, sorry I don't mean to sound like a troll. Just a little bummed with the last 2 losses, and a little angry with some of the FO's moves. I love the Suns!

Hint: If someone makes a general remark about trolls without naming names, and you instantly jump in to giggle, "I'm not a troll!" ... well ... I hope I don't have to spell it out for you.

no, it's not. this team was finished the second they got rid of KT, JR and 3 first round picks for nothing.

right, the new guy with 13 posts was supposed to think you were talking about someone else when you specifically called out NEW people in the thread? give me a break. anyone who looked at his post count knew you were talking about him. of course he'd respond that way.

This is only going to get worse since the players don't respect Porter or buy into the new system.

I don't understand what some Suns fans thought would happen after Kerr pushed D'Antoni out the door. He was a much better coach than Porter will ever be. I'm convinced Nash would have never won two MVPs without D'Antoni. I'm thinking more and more, D'Antoni made the players and not the players made D'Antoni. I think this season the fans are getting a glimpse of that possibility. Did anyone really think than Porter was going to win a Championship in Phoenix?

The Suns are a lesser team without D'Antoni. Porter's team cannot play offense or defense. Unless a miracle happens, I do not see the Suns making the playoffs.

Well, I was the only new poster in the thread so it wasn't hard to figure out. BTW I've visit this forum a lot, and most of the regulars here in the suns forum post far more critical things than I have. Are they all trolls?

I'm with you. I mean seriously, you guys are too quick to call this team a failure. It's just one loss. lol. I mean really come on. This team has the greatest center/entertainer of all time lol. Personally, I'll wait at least 'til after the 2011 season to pass judgment on Porter's system lol.

ignore E. he's just perma-cranky. he got so cranky once he went off and started his own forum that almost no one ever goes to, where he consistently mentions this board like a jilted ex-lover.

So when does Shaq start gaining weight and demanding trades? Amare already looks like he's playing for a new contract and destination in 2010. This is going to end very badly and I am going to feel really bad for Steve Nash. The least Kerr could do is trade him to a contender in need of a PG.

I agree. I won't say that the players success was all because of DA. But IMO your coach (and obviously the FO) should look at their personel and cater to their strengths. Not force them to be something they are obviously not.

Another turnover after they ignored Amare to pass back and forth to LB!

As TC 24 always says: "Don't complain if they don't pass you the ball; go out and get an offsv rebound or block a shot. Duh."
