I'm sure most ppl are tired of Anquan's antics. He's arguably one of the biggest players for the cardinals in recent years, and he 'was' a fan favorite. Anquan personified what a football player should be, he's tough, makes big plays, plays hard all the time no matter what. But now, he's overshadowed by his constant demand for a trade, and his TO like attitude. Fans dont like it, and owners dont like it, so Q is really just hurting himself in the end.

BTW, your sig...the quote from Miss SC, is pretty..........******** lol, how can anyone possibly be that dumb?

I have voted on this subject (for the organisation) but the choice/answer is IMHO a bit misleading.

I fully back the organization in its stance regarding the contract. However I still believe that Q has extreme value for the Cards and that he is a class act on the field and off. He never had this contract issue affect him on the field and I expect him to be ready for camp and the season regardless of the contract issue.

Let's just hope that both sides get their opinion on the same page and hope that Q will stay and fights again for us on this years road to SB ;-). He will be needed.

It's Hard to Make a Proper Judgment Without All the Facts...

What do we know? What do we think we know? What don't we know?

We know that Q has been unhappy about his contract.

We know that Q claims there were commitments made by the team that weren't honored.

We know that Rod Graves claims the Cards want Boldin back and are working on a contract extension.

We know that Drew Rosenhaus says that Q's demands were never as high as $10-mil per year.

SIRIUS radio (Adam Schein) has reported (without any corroboration I'm aware of) that the Cardinals made two offers for roughly $8-mil per year back in December.

We've heard Boldin and Rosenhaus and Q's teammates make statements ranging from (a) Q wants to be traded to (b) Q either wants a new deal or to be traded - just get it resolved to (c) Q really wants to remain a Cardinal.

What we don't know is (a) what Rod Graves actually did or did not promise to Q a year or two ago, (b) whether the Cardinals actually made the two $8 mil offers last December, (c) what the upper limits of Q's demands are - i.e. was it $999,999 or was it significantly lower? and, (d) therefore, how close together or far apart the two parties actually are.

We all have our educated guesses, but without really knowing what's been going down behind closed doors, we really can't accurately judge.
