Well, Bender is still play by play for home games.

Leander does play by play for road games.

McCoy for Radio.

Kempton is the Color Analyst for road radio broadcasts

Cotton is color analyst for home radio broadcasts.

EJ is color for both home and road tv broadcasts.

Chambers and Del Negro will also do color for home tv broadcasts.

Is it just me or did they make this the most dificult assigning possible?

It would be nice if they'd dump Bender and have McCoy do TV for home game play by play. I also liked hearing Cotton's commentary which will only be on radio now :-(

I could just mute the tv and listen to the radio while I watch games, but the delay sucks.

Are the Suns incapable of hiring staff who aren't former Suns players?

very much so......maybe that is why mediocre players love phx so much. They know they have job security well beyond their playing careers

If they would just get rid of Gary Bender I would be more than happy with that crew.

Arg, my worst fears confirmed.

Tim Kempton, an eight-year NBA veteran, will provide color analysis for all road games.

He was just god awful the other night when we played Portland.

I love listening to Eddie Johnson. I find him much better than kevin harlan, who is just a loudmouth. Eddie's analysis is always right on, and it seems that he is always saying what I am thinking. I do find it hilarious at the end of the game when he says, "defense is in order." when is defense not in order?

Or, "All of a sudden now!"

I think we have the makings of a Gary Bender drinking game. Maybe that'll help.. :)

Bender...... Kind of has a drinking connotation, don't you think?

I'd like to hear more from EJ - my favorite.

Anyone remember the early 90s home broadcasts with Greg Allen & Joe Gilmartin? Talk about a crew that put you to sleep... :bigyawn:

I used to run into Joe Gilmartin at the Paradise Valley Mall food court. Yes, he did put you to sleep.

Only chuckling to yourself at how bad his wig looked kept you awake. But he was a nice guy. And Phoenix was less cosmopolitan then.

'Poor guy was squeezed out of a job when the Republic & Gazette became the Republic.
