I'm pretty down like everyone else after the last 3 games but...

It's not crazy to think the Cards could win 3 of the last 4 and the Seahawks lose 3 of the last 4.

The Seahawks have the Packers and Vikings at home, but the Seahawks have actually been worse at home, then a gimme on the road vs the Bears (pray for snow), then the Rams on the road. The Rams have won 7 of the last 10 vs the Chicks and the last 3.

Meanwhile, we have the Pats at home, the Panthers on the road is much harder than it looked 6 weeks ago but winnable if Kyler can up his game. I think the Rams beat us at the Coliseum, but I think we can beat the Niners at home with some luck.

Of course, if that plays out as I hope then that Niners game at home would be a huge game so Kyler would surely choke.
I think the Seahawks probably handle the Vikings at home. The Vikings have been living a charmed life the last few weeks (we should have beat them at their house, they almost lost to the Bears) so I think on the road in Seattle it probably catches up to them. I also can easily see us laying an egg in Carolina because that's just what we do there generally. Gotta get through this week first though. Like many of you I probably won't be watching but will check in later.

The optimist in me remembers the 1998 Cardiac Cardinals that were 6-7 and then won their last 3 to sneak into the playoffs. Will this current team go on a run like that? Doubtful, but anything can happen in the NFL.

Of all of them I think Melton has the tools and instincts to maybe elevate. But he has a lot more growth necessary to become an impact player. But I have sneaking suspicions he might be. Similar to my gut with Garrett Williams.
I agree, he was one of my favorite CBs going into the draft.

I'm a bit surprised that the current line has the Cards favored by six. Hmmmmm....perhaps the oddsmakers are just giving us false hope about the state of the Cardinals. The state is rotten and I hope the Cards' overconfidence will not rise up to bite them. I wonder what the over/under for KM picks will be by Sunday?

Whatever it is, take the under. Relatively meaningless games against the dregs of the league is usually Kyler’s time to shine.

Seattle has laid the blueprint on how to deal with Kyler. Look for the Patriots to do the same thing.
This has the making of a 12-9 game.
Nah..

It's clear that Kyler suffer from the Brady illness. Pressure up the middle. Besides Barmore I do not see much personal from the Pats to execute like the Vikings and Seahawks. The good explosive interior DL is what has exposed the O-line and offense. It's Froholdt's weak area and in the games where he can handle his assignment by himself it has freed the guards to move around a look very good. Against the dominate DTs where the guards have to stay at home and stabilize it has not been pretty.

I expect this to be a win. Weaker opponent at home and with a personal and scheme that suits our offense.

Losing to NE would be more frustrating to me than losing to Seattle.

Well yeah, Pats are 3-10 with 2 of those wins over the Bears and Jets. They suck.

They have 2 or more score loses to the Phins, Titans, Jags, Texans, 49ers and Jets.

Would be terrible to lose to them at home.
