This all would have been bigger news if Pantone hadn't cracked the logo code. I'm holding him personally responsible for my disappointment.

Yeah, it seems like there was a lot of build-up. But I like the new logo and am glad the organization is willing to make some changes.

This sucks! Why the big press conference just for the new logo? What a let down. They should have just posted the new logo on their website and been done with it!

Look at the monster traffic and posts to this site...that's why the presser. It's great...new, clean, sleek logo now and new unis coming. Great to capitalize on the off week of the NFL and announce it now.

I think it was clear they wanted the logo out now to be ready for the NFL experience at the Super Bowl and for Berry at Pro Bowl.

Yeah, because we wouldn't want any sort of national attention. That would be horrible to be mentioned on the Tonight Show.

Whether or not you think the build up was warranted, the launch of the logo seemed to be pretty successful, to me.

Based on the huge traffic and amount of posts on the buildup to the press conference and the conference itself, I think that the people are only ticked because they opened their present before it was supposed to be given to them. Oh, well. At least we know when the new uniforms are coming, so the anticipation can start anew.

Yes during the Pres conf. they said he will wear the new logo.

I would like to start a petition...

that ALL postings regarding logos and uniforms become closed IMMEDIATELY so no more marathon threads on the silly subject continue!


This is a big deal over not much IMO.
