That may explain why they leaked the information, but Manning's camp has made it clear that they don't want Eli there. I have no doubt that SD didn't want Eli, or the #1 pick for that matter, all along. But that's no excuse for super-high character, no miss, farm boy Eli to pull a Lindros on the Chargers. I'd rather have KW II.
