If they were blowing it up, they wouldn't delay ticket sales...they'd want as many as possible.

Nah, the way it has worked the last few years, you can still bail up until early march. Even if you initially commit, you could still change your mind, nothing is charged right away. I think they're waiting to figure out where the price would land if they blow the team up... obviously you'd imagine the price would drop.

Expanding on my previous post, I only know about the change in the ticket renewal because I am on the list. I can tell you, enthusiasm at games is very very low this year. I've had season tickets since covid, and the arena is sold out right now, but the atmosphere is dead, at least compared to where it was a few years ago. I have a chat group with people in my row so we can exchange tickets if circumstances arise... circumstances are arising very often. I've sold more of my own tickets this year already than I have the previous 3 seasons combined.

If you sell half your tickets during the season (and yes, the team can track it) you lose out on playoff ticket priority... I am probably pushing it right now, but it's looking like it won't be something I have to worry about.

Kind of like if you trade away half of all your talent, both home grown in this case and half your picks, you lose playoff priority.

When I had season tickets, even with the Cards, I had at times to sell tickets because of other engagements. The guy that used to sit next to me used to have his son drive down to the arena and scalp them so it wasn't recorded as a resell whenever they couldn't go. I wasn't sure if that was just a rumor or true. You seem to confirm that.

Now I just buy "packages". For several years now it's just been way too much to commit to every game for me and the fam. Between my kids events, the wife and work just not enough hours in the day.

Since it's all digital now, that's probably how they easily keep track.

Seems like once its yours, you should be able to do what you want with it. But I get it, it helps guard from brokers.
You don't want opposing fans to outnumber the locals, too.

My season ticket invoice came in. Prices are the same, stagnant for 3 years now.

Not sure if I am renewing. I wish I had more of an idea about the team's plans this summer.

If they are running it back, I want out.

If they are selling Booker and KD, I want out.

If they are selling KD for some package that might entice... like what Golden State offered or some imagined Houston deal, and keeping Booker... I'd be much more inclined to stick around.

Remember when this guy was doing every interview, podcast and press conference? Is he in witness protection now?
Meh. There is nothing to say. They already decided what is going to happen the rest of this season. The only reason to do interviews now is to take a beating.

Ishbia is pretty vanilla in interviews at this point. He stays on the party line of, we will do everything to try and bring a championship to AZ. We aren't learning anything new at this point.

It would be nice to have an owner and GM talk to the fans both through the good times and the bad, especially the bad. This is when fans need reassurance the most. I'd like to hear about what those other 29 GMs would do again

Well they did have that awkward presser a couple weeks back.

His "26 teams in the league would trade their entire situation for ours" rant is going to hang over his head for a long long time.

If I ever go to a game this season, last one was 2016 against Butler/Bulls, I'll have a sign that says

"99/100 ???"
