Regardless of the outcome of the trial. your approach to this matter will ALWAYS be wrong.

Hey, if my approach is similar to the approach of Kobe's attorne team, and they win, I will be very happy. Thinking like a lawyer is more important to me than what you think. I mean no disrespect to you or anyone else on this board, but again, some things are more important to me.

That's not what I said at all, but then again you're really good at putting words in other people's mouths.

You were speaking in absolutes. I was just pointing out the fact that the verdict does not always establish what really occurred.

Lighten up a little.

Wait a minute--I thought I was the only one who put words into other people's mouths??

You're right, I already admitted long time ago that mistakes happen in our legal system, but I guarantee you that if he is found guilty, people will be praising the verdict, and if he is found not guilty, people will complain how the system screwed up, say that he didn't get convicted because he is rich, etc.

Just watch what happens. It's the same story trial after trial.

I don't think too many people are pro-Kobe or anti-Kobe, most just want to hear the facts of the case. It's hard to predict what will be said after the trial, if there even is a trial, because no one, but the prosecution, even knows what the evidence is.

Absolutely correct. SS is acting like all of us hate the man and think he's already guilty. That isn't the case at all.

There are basically 3 levels to this arguement:

1) Kobe is guilty
2) We need to see the evidence
3) Kobe is an angel

SS and his cohorts are strictly #3, while the rest of us are strictly #2.

NOBODY on this board has even given the appearance of being #1.

I think the only thing we've truly established in this thread is that people can use a whole lot of different yellow message board faces in a serious argument.

This will be true predominantly among whites. Among blacks, it will be the opposite -- if he is convicted, it will be the prejudice in the system, and if he is acquitted, it will be a triumph of justice.

I am not racist, but the way in which blacks feel that the system is out to get them is truly scary. To be sure, they are partly right: it's easy to find evidence of sentencing biases, greater violence from cops, discriminatory hiring practices. But many well educated, perfectly friendly black people unabashedly shared with me their joy in the O. J. Simpson acquittal -- and when I asked for an explanation, all they could say was, "It's about time."

Hahahaha! Hilarious!

The same guy that gave a  because the LA cops got a hung jury for beating a black kid on video.

Your hypocrisy grows by the minute!

But you gave a thumbs up for the police brutality thread.

Hypocrite.

Thinking like a lawyer is important to you? That explains a TON.

I don't think so. You are a lier who is withholding relevant information- that's not everything he posted. How about you go back, read everything he posted, and then carefully examine the statement. I agreed that:

No contradiction or hypocricy there buddy. Nice try though.

You all hate them until you need them.
Next time you need one, why don't you represent yourself if you are so smart. Most lawyers I know are more decent, honest and professional than most Christians I know.

I'm a lier?

No, you weren't specific on what part you agreed with. Remember the small details, Stefan, because you can come away looking like a lot of things (hypocrite included).

Who ever said we hate lawyers?

Nice generalization.

Sounds like SirStefan32 is just using this message board for practice, and pretending be Kobe's defense attorney or something. I just have one question why do you feel so passionate about Kobe and his innocence? YOU DON'T KNOW HIM! Did or do you know someone that was wrongfully accused of rape or what?????

Yeah, that came out of left field.

Who has said that they hate lawyers?
