I think that, while all the question marks se7en raises are more or less valid, some of them seem somewhat contrived. I mean, every single team in the history of the NBA has had question marks lurking over them before the start of the season. That's pretty much what the offseason is for. But some of the questions se7en raised will probably not influence the teams all that much.
"What Stephon Marbury's ankles don't heal quite the way he expects them to. He seems to have chronic ankle problems. Do we have another Grant Hill on our hands?"
"What if Penny decides he wants to be the team's go-to guy again. Sure, he's been quiet recently, but can he not change his tune in an instant?"
"What will happen if Joe Johnson decides he's the man for the starting 2 guard position, but Frank Johnson thinks otherwise. Or what if Frank Johnson agrees, but Penny thinks otherwise. How will that affect the team's chemistry, something that seemed to be the team's strong-suit this past season?"
"Will Amare Stoudemire's troubled home-life finally affect his game? As we've seen from Kobe Bryant this summer, any minor slip-up can become a major distraction."
As you can see, if you look for them, there are some questions that even our Phoenix Suns team has. Nevertheless, I'm very confident going into this season that we can make some real strides towards becoming a contender in the West.
