I'll move it to the 2nd lead when se7en sends me his real name.

What makes you think se7en isn't his real name?

I think that, while all the question marks se7en raises are more or less valid, some of them seem somewhat contrived. I mean, every single team in the history of the NBA has had question marks lurking over them before the start of the season. That's pretty much what the offseason is for. But some of the questions se7en raised will probably not influence the teams all that much.

"What Stephon Marbury's ankles don't heal quite the way he expects them to. He seems to have chronic ankle problems. Do we have another Grant Hill on our hands?"

"What if Penny decides he wants to be the team's go-to guy again. Sure, he's been quiet recently, but can he not change his tune in an instant?"

"What will happen if Joe Johnson decides he's the man for the starting 2 guard position, but Frank Johnson thinks otherwise. Or what if Frank Johnson agrees, but Penny thinks otherwise. How will that affect the team's chemistry, something that seemed to be the team's strong-suit this past season?"

"Will Amare Stoudemire's troubled home-life finally affect his game? As we've seen from Kobe Bryant this summer, any minor slip-up can become a major distraction."

As you can see, if you look for them, there are some questions that even our Phoenix Suns team has. Nevertheless, I'm very confident going into this season that we can make some real strides towards becoming a contender in the West.

I am not worried about any of those question, not at all.

If Penny Hardaway devellops an ego, he won't benefit from it at all, so he won't.

Marbury had surgery on his ankles before last season as well. Did he miss any games in the last 2 seasons because of an injury? No, his ankle problems are minor.

Joe Johnson is a pretty big part of the chemistry. If he improves it will only help the team.
Remember when Amare got ROY? Marbury, Marion and JJ were attending it....

Joe Johnson is also closer to the core of the team age wise.

And I have trouble believing that someone suggests that Joe Johnson will develop an ego to the point that it could affect chemistry at all.

If Joe Johnson is as good as Penny he will get more minutes ~ easy.

I thought I heard that the Rockets lost James Posey... not a huge deal but that leaves them thin at SF.

Didn't look up stats after trade (Posey to Rockets last year) but I'd rather have Posey than Piatkowski IMO.
